St. Cat當然唔係代表一切，每間學校都有人考第尾，考學校面話要講表現，有啲小朋友又無禮貌。讀到一間好學校，都要父母配合，唔係指意晒間學校，我個女今年考四間，只有一間普普通通學校收，成績麻麻，我只會承認自己女兒唔夠其他人標青，絕不會懷疑學校嘅教學質數。以下係St. Cat2007-2008年升小學部份數據作參巧：

之前未有學校收，個心梗係唔舒服，亞仔問ge時候，我就話:「仲諗緊，等媽咪揾間最啱你ge。」

後來有間普普通通ge學校收，話俾佢聽揀到la!  佢又問聖保羅、男拔收唔收！我估d同學仔傾偈講啩。我就話:「一個小朋友只會讀一間小學咋！」

好在佢蠢蠢地，冇再追問。

我唔覺得俾人reject 係佢ge 錯，所以唔想打擊佢。間間學校都咁多人apply，收嚟收去可能都係top嗰班，自問亞仔唔係醒，又無特異功能.....

六月點都有一次大執位，私校、直資都會放番d位出嚟，想增加機會就寫多d信la!  加油！

我有報自行派位, 但都知一定唔得, 因為我只得15分。
你個小朋友考到那一間私校呀?
其實我都知沙田區要派到好的官校都好難, 實在太多人爭。

All parents,

I had the same experience last year and finally got the seat from one we love.  My eldest daughter  is studing so good in this school.  She's from SC.

From my suggestion,
1. Prepare the recommendation letter from the kindergarten in early May.
2. Prepare all portfoilios after the "lucky draw" result in June.
3. Run around all schools with your daughter/son.  Show her/him the schools and ask them which one they like.
4. Keep trying, trying and trying the letters to school showing your keen.
5. "Don't Give UP"

Is SC willing to issue recommendation letter?  Kentville refuses to issue such letter, they say the principal never give such letter to anybody.

我報6間，有5間收，我個仔讀SC。幾時都係好多因素加埋，SC係OK ，但淨係靠SC就一定好易出事。

Dear Kmon,

The principal in SC is OK for recommendation letter, but once for the whole studying period.

I would like to have it in May as my daughter already got the mid-term result.

Dear parents,

Of course, we didn't rely on the school, family education is very important.  We didn't expect too much with 3 hours a day.  But SC provided a very good basic education for primary even to P.2 in some of the schools if you really followed their homework.  I kept unseen dictation with my daughters when they're in 2nd terms of K2.  So, now it's no problem for any schools.

Is the recommendation letter useful when applying P1? Cos everyone (from SC) may get one when they apply P1.

Is there any ranking in SC after the 2nd term result? If not, it is quiet difficult to judge which tier of primary schools I should apply for my son.

Finally, which school is your eldest girl studying now?

The recommendation letter is not only for applying P.1, it's their reference letter for kindergarten (in one paper).
A lot of parents in SC ask for it.

It's no ranking in SC, it's so many elements for applying P.1.  But I found SC is very good for both of my daughters.

My eldest daughter now is studying in Good Hope.  So far, she is ok for all subjects.  You will appreciate SC when they studying in Primary as SC really provided them a very good educational foundation that I believed.
