Just receive the letter from St. Catherine. It said if there's sit available, they'll call me at between Jul to Sep.

sorry, 我唔係好明白, 係唔係即係上次12月收完 waiting list 信後, 呢兩日再收到第二封 waiting list 信 ? 因為我記得 12月封 waiting list 信好似都有講類似既野, 請問係唔係即係要收到第二封 waiting list 信先等於真正有得 wait 呢 ???

I have got the same letter this Monday too that they will contact us between July to Sept if seats become available.

剛剛打電話去sc問，回覆是12月有家長知道waiting後，寫求位信比校長，佢地今個星期先會收到呢封信。

I think most parents need to aware that it will be better to submit another letter to the school for requesting for a place for your kid when he/she is in waiting list. Although many ppl think it is useless, it did work for some cases that I heard. It shows the eagerness of your kid to enter the school.

It already common to do this for P1 place and now extend to K1 place because the competition for kinder is keen now.

My friend failed to accept by Good Hope K1, but she plays a lot of effort to call the school, sent letter frequently and finally got the place in Dec last year. Hence, if you want to increase the chance, then you better do sth although it is not guarantee of success.

Yes, I'm sure some seats will be released after June since certain people will give up their seats and choose KV or GH. There are thousands of waiting list candidates, who to call first? I guess the school will first contact those who has shown eagerness to enter to the school.
