請問軒尼詩官立vs跑馬地寶血,各位會點選擇呀?

軒小聯繫中學（女同學適用者）有：庇理羅士女子中學（Band 1頂）、金文泰中學（Band 1中上）、鄧肇堅維多利亞官立中學（Band 2尾）、何東中學（Band 2中下）

寶血聯繫中學有：寶血女子中學（Band 2中）

表面看軒小似乎「跑出」，不過亦有一定數量的寶血小六女生考入瑪利曼中學（Band 1頂）、嘉諾撒聖方濟各書院（Band 1頭）及聖保祿中學（Band 1中），近半則入了香港真光中學（Band 1尾）。

根據Khmama最新修訂,聖保祿中學是Band 1頭,嘉諾撒聖方濟各是Band 1中.

Would like to know whether there is any chance to get in if we put Henessey Road am and pm class in the second and third choice in the lucky draw. Will the am class be more popular than pm class? Any sucessful case in the 'knock door' stage if we did not put it in the first choice?  Anyone can share their experience.

Dear Charlotte_mom and Littlekiwi,

For primary school, there is the yearly banding percentage (say xx% Band 1, xx% Band 2, and xx% Band 3, totaling 100%) as dictated by the previously 2-years result of the 「中一入學前香港學科測驗」. Of course the primary schools are not "allowed" (by EDB) to advertise that even if they want to, but there is still ways to know it if you worked in relevant fields and are well-connected...

For secondary school, you are mostly right on that. But we can also get hold of the bandings of the F.1 students admitted by secondary schools in a particular district by means of “reverse engineering”. For example因為我有2009年葵青區4間小學的exact banding資料，再加上能根據這4間小學 近400多名小六同學升中 派位結果及其所作的統一派位甲／乙部選擇次序、再剔除其自行選校選擇而作的分析，便能清楚知道在2009年度整個NT1網內每間中學收F.1生時的Banding及相對高低。因此在NT1網而言，我是「知道」而不是靠觀察或印象。Same in NT2 net too.

其實學校係無banding的, banding係俾個別學生升中時用, 所以大部分學生係咩banding, d人就會話間學校係咩banding(好多人band one咪叫band one頭lor, 有one有two咪叫band one中之類lor)
而學生係咩banding, 學校亦唔 ...

我沒有該校直屬中學嘉諾撒聖心書院的F.1收生Banding資料，但以其公開試成績而言，其中學會考六科14分以上的百份比高達85.1%，與其他港島區top schools如庇理羅士女子中學、張祝珊英文中學及瑪利曼中學等中學看齊。如此看來該校水平應在Band 1頂，而其直屬之小學（尤其是下午私小班）小六生水平平均亦理應在Band 1頭。

Dear Charlotte_mom:

I supposed you are referring to 調整分加權? (Weights of Adjusted Score) That is calculated based on the two-year result of each primary school's P.6 graduates who undertook the 中一入學前香港學科測驗 as mentioned in the previous posting. With that, they can get an individual 調整分 for each student, which in turn would be used to compare them in a district and territory-wide basis to determine the percentage of each banding available to each school.

No, EDB would not directly tell individual school about that. But the school can again "reverse" engineered that by comparing this year's percentage of students allocated to each band with that of last year, then you would get the "relative" increased / decreased weight of Adjusted Score for their own school, but NEVER the "absolute" Weights of Adjusted Score.
