其實樓主一直都有響唔同既thread度寫左佢鐘意邊間,同埋批評邊間.所以我唔認為樓主真係因為呢兩間都收,想問人地既意見囉.
的確答既都係果幾個人,我諗呢兩間既家長都唔會想響度挑起一d無謂既爭論囉.

咁又係既！即使話英華點差都好，人地都係一間大校，個校長都係見過世面既人，DBS更加係公認的top one校啦，點會咁冇見地收著d咁冇主見、道聽途說既家長呀？！

講真，DBS收無理由唔去，起碼要試過至知。如果擔心經濟，可以申請減免。

咁當然去！問題係呢個樓主心態好有問題，我見另一topic佢批評yw古怪商業化，講真報考幾間唔係問題，排先後次序都冇問題，問題係如果係目標之一點會踩間學校呀？好似有位朋友f.....，我都睇過佢留言，別人一樣幾個offer，一樣有DBS，但冇見過佢踩邊間學校喎！

坦白講.. 雖然言之尚早, 但係我有兩名, 我地又唔係窮到無錢交學費, 都叫中產, 但係d錢去哂供樓度.. 如果俾咗個大嘅, 就唔夠俾個細嘅讀私校/直資, 佢地第時亦無錢去外國
呢d case, 睇怕無得減啦??

if u r a YW parent then i m very disappointed!! principal lam has tried so hard to built up the school, try to make it above the standards to be compared with the more prestige ones, and parents like u can so easily bring it down!! please, use a little sense...

do u know what it takes to go into a hk university or a overseas university???   i can tell u whether u go to dbs or yw has NOTHING to do with it!!!!

if the child going to dbs then u have no money to send him to overseas university...
and if go to ying wa then u will be able to save more money to go to overseas university..

我相信佢係呢個意思，因為如計劃去外國讀大學費用十分龐大，對某一些家庭係需要經年累月咁儲回來。我明白佢意思，我估佢意思係如果個仔幾叻考到外國好的大學，但又未至於好到有獎學金，而父母又冇足夠儲備，點算？

其實去得考直資/私立學校, 某程度上都會覺得間學校唔錯先去報考架啦!  當然都會漁翁撒網式去報, 但呢堆學校中, 自己都會有個racking去排家嘛.
我自己兩間都鍾意, 但都會有高低之分, 反而如果DBS同LS, 我就真係唔知點揀...
