嶺南收左仔仔, 但其實唔近屋企(家住港島東), 心大心細諗緊俾唔俾佢讀, 請問有無小朋友讀緊嶺南幼稚園的媽咪分享吓?

1)小朋友開心嗎?
2)老師有耐性嗎?
3)中英文程度如何?
4)多唔多考試/功課?

As far as I know, no English for N1. Presume no homework for N1 student?Am I correct?  They do have native english teachers in the school, I met some during the school interview.  Their 英文主任 can speak fluent English too.  

What time is your son get on the school bus?  How many kids they have per school bus?  Do you know they have school bus to 小西灣 or not?  

Bunny_mama  : where are you living?  Which district of Island East?

I live in Quarry Bay.  I still struggle whether to let my son travel or just study K1 at Quarry Bay.

totally agree with BB Hung!! my child is well-mannered and very happy. he likes telling stories and he is very articulate (in proper chinese). he learns english too but i  understand the focus this year is chinese. the teachers are caring and attentive. the school is not easily accessible but the school bus service is reliable. the air there i believe is relatively clean!

My son got an offer on Lingnam K1.  We live in Kwun Tong, do you know if there is school bus from Kowloon East to the school?  Also, is there any open day for K1 so we can understand more about the curriculum?  Thanks.

Bunny_mama : Quarry Bay is acceptable.  Lingnam is really far away from my home (Siu Sai Wan), as such I’m still struggling to put him in Lingnam (N1) or just put him in 迦南 (next block to my home).

there is english course in N1...my son always sing " rainbow, rainbow..." and "lion tiger ...". ...in K1-3, there is NET...

really .. sorry for the confusion.  My son just got offer from KCS (蘇浙) PM Class.  Most likely I will put him in KCS as it is much more closer than Lingnam.

When and how you receive the notice?  I am also waiting for the result from KCS.  This Saturday is the deadline to pay the registration fee for Lingnan.  I just wonder if I should pay this as an insurance fee.

Sorry, I may have confused you.  My son is applying Nursery (not kindergarten) at both KCS & Lingnam.  Hence, I received the offer letter from Linngnam in mid-Nov already.

I've paid registration fee at Lingnam & Cannan (both at $660).  Lucky that KCS Nursery no need to pay any desposite till May 2010.

My BB got offer in LN too - PM class. I have a friend as a kinder teacher. She helped me to get more info about this school. All feedback are positive, even from 'insider' - who worked in education field. If so, they require us to pay for the school fee by May. The only problem for me is the transport, I live in Hung Hom. They don't have school bus to Kowloon. Anyone can help, please??

My son got Lingnan N1 AM class offer (deadline to pay for 2nd registration is 8th May).
I feel more comfort/confident for the school after read your reply.
It’s really hard to search comments on Lingnan PN / K1.

However, I do have the same concern as you. I lived in Siu Sai Wan (Island East) and my son need to ride on school bus at 8am (class at 9.30am), actually the kids will arrive school at 9am.
So worries to let a Age 2+ kid to travel alone for 1 hour on school bus!

Thanks for your information.
My son got offer for their N1 AM Class in Aug.
However, I’m so worry about the long travel time (1 hr from Siu Sai Wan to their campus).
Can you tell me more :

-        -  You bb is studying AM or PM class?

-        -  How long will it take from 嘉亨灣 to school (by school-bus) and vise versa (from school back to home)?

-        -  What time your bb get on to the school-bus?
-         - How many kids per school-bus?
-         - What type of seat-belt they are using on the school-bus?
e.g. cross shoulder (single side, like the usual one we are wearing), cross both shoulder or cross the waist only?

Just wonder is your son still studying in Lingnan K1?  My son is now attending their N1 AM class.  Am struggling to stay with Lingnan for K1 or move to other kindergarten if have luck.  Still try to get more information about their P1 Allocation Result but without luck.  Can you share more your experience with Lingnan?  Thanks in advance.
