my boy is a little boy (0711), both accepted am class. don't know how to choose as SC seems more famous but SN is "small class size". If you were me, which one will you choose? Trouble....thanks for advice in advance.

money is not a big concern. but I am afraid SC will neglect my little boy as so many students. For SC moms, may I know how many class in norfolk road and how many students in a class? thanks a lot. as far as I know, SN only have around 20 students in a class. really a struggle for me.

I heard some moms said that some SC English classes will group two big class together and taught by 1 single NET. e.g. 28 students/class, then they group 2 x 28 students = 56 students together in a big room and taught by 1 single NET, especially some time ago, SC faced the shortage of NET.

Any current SC K1-K3 may verify this saying?

same situation as u, mine is oct-07 girl. I put SN as my 1st choice and St.Cat as the backup when i choose the kinder for my kid. Actually, when I received the offer letter from SN(the day when i back home after the interview of St.Cat), I decision to give up all the rest interviews. coz my girl is so shy and don't know how to fight for herself yet. (好似早兩日o係 playgroup咁, my girl 攞住自己個水樽飲水, 有個小朋友走埋lei 要攞我個囡個樽, 我個囡同佢爭持咗2秒就自己放開手比人攞走咗個樽, 然後扁晒嘴好唔開心咁坐o係我度, 眼定定望住自己個水樽又唔敢攞番.) so, i think SN 'small class' is the best for my girl.

我個女都收咗SN AM class,但其實我鐘意SC 多D,可惜SC只係WAITING,估唔到SN 都咁多人讚,因為好似唔夠SC同KV出名,但因為係小班教學,所以我都好開心有SN 呢個OFFER !!

雖然sn 無 sc 咁出名, 但我在網上左睇右睇, 每個媽咪都對sn有讚無彈, 所以仔仔有這offer我都好開心, 如果係am offer就更perfect, 可惜而家係下午班.  我最鐘意sn係小班教學, less than 20人一班, 相信對細仔的照顧會好D :)

thanks for all the comments. but still don't know how to choose. concerning the primary school, I would like to choose st. frances, Tak shui, yaumeti catholic primary school (new), "chan shou yan"? so..which kinder is more suitable?

應該keep到, 因為我有去個talk, 校長話今年報名人多, 加開左兩班下午班, 之前只有上午班架咋.

其實sn我都好鐘意, 最鐘意佢派位唔錯+小班, 而且學費唔太貴, 而家我頭痛緊Think定SN, 你地覺得邊間好d?

Think比我上午班 (SN下午), 而且非常近屋企, 唔駛搭校車.

SN is small class in K1, but more parent  would application to K2. When yr children study in k2 have about 25 -30 in one class.

SC for sure and you won't be regretted.  Having said that, I am not a SC mom and my younger son is only waitlisted.  

However, my elder is in P1 this year (he came from KV), according to SN's official announcement, only 2 boys this year (2009 p1) got a seat at that DSS primary school.   

I am not saying that SN is no good.  I would also let my son to study in there (I didn't apply it actually) if no offers from SC, KV, KM and HKPS.  Obviously, I would rank SN higher than York and Stafford and any other kinders in Kln Tong.

But if aidenma only compare SC and SN, then surely SC.

[My personal opinion and experience only]

isnt the teacher-student ratio is "set" by the govt? I mean won't have too much difference. The net-teacher - student might vary though...
