I have applied a thorogh train school for my kid next year earlier.  My initial plan is once sucessful, I will "wish" to take 2 schools" as I don't want to quit LH.  Hence all are on the drawing board only and actually I haven't worked out the details logistics yet as the school is quite far away, so one thinking may be the maid can stand by to take her to and for during the transition.  My girl don't need napping hence it is the reason I would consider studying both schools.  But the plb of lunch is a tough one, since still need time to sit down properly and eat

I don't think you are crazy, if bb doesn't sleep, better let her do something more meaningful than watching TV.

Keep in touch then, I may act out such plan next year for my girl too if good offers come.

BTW, any other $$$ rather than school fee at LH?

Taking two schools is what I plan to do. However, from my friend's experience, their kids always be sick. Finally, she gave up to do so.

Also, eating is really a great problem. Does she eat on the road? Can the time be matched? It's really a headache.

Yeah right

Only prerequistie criteria is that both schools must be very different,  it is no way if two schools are very similar in nature eg one is project approach the one is traditional

speaking of LH, I heard good comments about it.  My son answered all questions asked during interview, he is now attending not a bad PN either, got accepted by SC already, I wonder why both PN and K1  ...

I guess the application form also helps.  I have spent some times to fill in my expectations on the schools as well as how I can help my child in his school life.

net based teacher stays in the class for the whole school day.  Staying in class even during snack breaks

"Show and Tell" session on every Friday.  Pupils are required to bring along with 1 toy or story book to share in front of the classmates (in English / PTH for PE class).  So, parents need to help the kids on this.

You have information NOW and you can apply PM session of either one.

For me, sighhhhhh, Jan 9 is the last day of paying $660 register fee to LH, however, I am still waiting result of HKPS (KLN Tong, supposed on Jan 11), don't know how to SAVE $660. I would only choose between LH VS HKPS (though chance is slim, but interview performance was good).

Anyone think HKPS is better? I think both are good in language, small classes, caring teachers, HOWEVER, for sibling marks of my younger son (Feb 2009), seems HKPS is better, right?

if HKPS vs LH, I guess I'll go for LH. HKPS has quite a lot of negative comments, one of my friend's kid studied in both schools, her comments on LH is way better. from what she has told me on HKPS, I doubt if I can really trust the school too... (I also applied it for my girl).

Hi Babyeddie,

Would you tell which LH was your friend's kid studying?  I'm thinking if LH (TY) or （海帆）as TY is closer to my home but the campus of  （海帆）seems better.

我女正在 學之園 (海帆)返PN, 也想分享一下自己的看法.

學之園的學費$3700 x 12 months + 600半年 書簿費 , 初時會覺得有一點貴, 但返了兩個月便覺得物有所值.學校每星期也派發精美的中文字卡和letterland 字卡, 定期有精美的中英文書本, 每月一款親子遊戲.....我也十分滿意學校的課程和管理.

更令人喜愛的是, 老師會拍攝上課時的照片, 放在學校web site 讓家長觀看, 令家長可看到小寶貝在校內的情況. 相片更是免費供家長download, 每星期也不時有新相. 我和丈夫每次看見相片也會十分興奮.

此外, 同意其他家長所說, 此校令人感到親切. 只是短短數月, 大多數教職員也能認出我女兒的名字.有時我打電話到學校辦事處查詢, 職員一聽到我的聲音更會認得我 . 可能因為學生人數比一般名校少, 所以由嬸嬸上至校長, 都認得每一位自己的學生.

無疑, 學之園的名氣和歷史也不及很多傳統名校, 但她對學生的用心和優質管理是無可否認的.我覺得這學校真的好努力.

thx! the world maker has chosen for us, I registered LH (HL), still have 2 interviews to go. End of this year, will apply PN for my younger son again! Do you think siblings have advantage? Anyway, my son is Feb09.

Both are good.  If you choose SC (CE), you might need to send your child to PTH private lessons.
