唔好意思, 見到你個post, 想問問你題外話, 呢幾間kg學費係唔係差不多...

hkps $36,000
kv $24,770
york $30,00

Based on only the school fees, it seems km is the most expensive but I heard york should be the highest (at least $5K/month!!!) if we count the monthly misc. charges.
Do you know the total fees incl. the misc. charges of the above school? Thank you!

honestly, every school has something strong and things that may suit your kid.

for me, I can see hkps has a more balanced curriculum (c.f. kv).. and it's more "advanced" in may ways too. what I do ...

I have a friend who received a rejection letter, so I think "waiting list" does NOT equal "rejected".

please don't forget that KV has no NET teacher and that's why they are the cheapest!

Does anyone know the difference between Essex and Norfolk?
I have also ticked the box for willing to accept pm session if am session is full, but my son got the offer for am class.
Is HKPS Kowloon Tong really worth attending? I personally think their admin is rather messy. And they don't keep their promise when it comes to class arrangement!
For example, my son got an offer last year for the PN for 09/10 but they suddenly changed to 3 days instead of 5 days a week! My son did not attend this school because I think 3 days per week was not enough.
Secondly, one of my friends' daughter was promised a place in am for K1 because she was in the PN class, but at the end, she was allocated in the PM session instead.
They gave us an option to keep a K1 place for 10/11 even we did not attend the PN class, I wonder if they will keep such promise?
Further, the admin staff in HKPS gave me a call in September and suddenly tell me they have a place for us and told me he was on their waiting list.????
I was so confused, of course my son did not attend because he was also already studying in another school.
Having said all this, I am not sure if HKPS is better or SC is better??
HKPS: pros, Eng/PTH and small class
cons, Messy Admin, less famous
SC : pros, Well established, many NETs
cons, large class size, not much emphasis on PTH.

Congrats to those who get their offers.

We are in PM waiting list, don't feel unhappy coz it is expected (my daughter performed the worst among 7 interviews). Also, we are happy to let her study in GH. (thanks God!)

To make us feel better, I guess all those who are rejected should have received a waiting list letter
