KV - 中數好但沒有普、英native老師!

我就一定唔揀蘇浙, 因為我地屋企無人講到好嘅PTH, 小朋友識少少就ok, 亦唔會有意安排PTH中小學佢讀, 如果最後小學中文課係廣東話.. 又要再學過! no la~

Both KCKG & KV are good schools; but if I were you, you need to think what kind of primary you want your kids to study. Secondly but also important is, where you live? I think really it's quite hard for small kids to travel long distance.

Wish you could sort out the best for your kid.

I live at TKO...I think's it same distance if go to KCKG or KV...both can apply a good primary school as well.  Very diffiuclt to select!!!!!

現在有很多學校都是用普通話教中文科. 而我深信如小朋友熟悉普通話, 對中文寫作會有幫助呢.  我的姪兒自小都是用廣東話學中文科, 現在中三, 她的中文作文很口語化呢!  看她的作文, 使我覺得
很恐佈啊!

我而家都困擾阿囝讀唔讀蘇浙小學(因為阿囝另外有考出面學校),不過老實講阿囝係蘇浙幼稚園讀左3年,佢而家真係講得好好,好流利,連表情都出哂黎,所以我都唔捨得蘇浙既普通話教學,真係相比並他學校一星期有2-3堂係唔足夠.

係呢,你囝囝幼稚園係唔係蘇浙到讀,還是係2010年讀小一呀!

我仔只是2010讀K1.  我對蘇浙很有興趣, 但又想他讀根德園.  請問您仔仔在蘇浙學習是否開心呢? 蘇浙老師的表達能力是否很好?  她們是否很有愛心呢?  會否太多人一班呢?  她們是否照顧到每一個小孩的需要?   中文表達及學中文字是否好...英語教得好嗎? 對不起, 很貪心地問了您很多問題....希望得到你的回覆....(知道很多小學都喜歡收 蘇浙幼稚園的學生, 希望你能幫囝囝找到一間合適他的小學).

Hi, My son is small B, he is in KCS K1 now. He also had interview in KV this month. I also have same concerns as yours.

I definiately agreed PTH does help chinese writing. If my soon stays in KCS I will let him to go to P1 in KCS as well.

I have to wait for interview result from KV, if KV also accept my son, then I have make a hard decision.

Now, your son is studing at K1...if he needs to re-study K1 at KV??   If your son likes to go to school everyday?  If the teachers are good, kindness and reliable.  If they have good teaching skill so that the student can achique knowledge from them.  

My son had interviewed at KV on Nov 15...I believe KV will accept my son for he had singed + played with the teacher who interview me.  Actually, my son guild the interview...once he arrived at the interview desk, he automatically took the puzzle and guild the teacher to play with him.   I feel the teachers have good feeling toward my son.   My son will interview KCS on Dec 5 9:30am, as my application # is "5"...the principle had said the possibility for accepting my son is very high as we are the earliest one to line up at the school for returning the application.  I will be very hard to make the decision as well if both school accept my son...I afraid I would make the wrong decision..it affects his future study life.

I feel teachers in KCS are quite nice, but no of student in each class is many (about 30 kids) with 3 teachers. My son likes his english teacher.

For teaching skill...I really had idea. But from my oberservation of my son, he can slightly understand PTH after 1 month of K1 life, and now he likes to signs sons in PTH, and if I talk PTH to him, he understands as well. He said he like school life in KCS now.

If KV really accepts my son, I also need to think about it serously. Coz KCS is really not bad, and PTH surely is important for kids in their future life.
On the other side, KV is also a school that worth to go....very headache ar......

Good luck to your kid's interview at KCS, its not difficult, add oil.

Thank you for your reply!  You had pointed out the weakness and the strength of KCS....I hope KV will accept my kids and KCS too so that I can make a good selection among them.   I wish your kid can get the seat from KV.

I think i will choose KCS as the school fee is cheaper and the level of Chinese is similar but for Maths may need to take some extra course, but very important you can save money to learn PTH later.

My son is now studying in K2 at 蘇浙. I think it's a good school.  Teacher are nice and caring. Children have good time in school.

Thank you for sharing your opinion!  I will consider deeply to make the good selection to my kid.

If PTH is important then KV may not meet your requirements as PTH is probably the weakest subject.

KV accept my son at K1 pm today...tmrw will be interview KCS...if KCS accept my son, I really need to make the choice....very hard I know.....
