My kid is boy too. Yes, you're correct. My most hesitation towards YCPS is the variation of the academic results. Although can have >20 boys went to WY last year, only got 60% went to EMI schools only. However, there are >90% went to EMI from KRS and TNPS.

On the contrary, the campus of YCPS is so big and nice, while the rest of the two are small and old. And we need to pay $2K per month.

Anyway, I think I will confirm the seat at Tak Nga first.  If I can get better offer, I may change to other school.  But now, compare with RHS & YCPS, I like Tak Nga more.  If you have any information, please share with me.

  I also have the same view of you.  But I am worried about the 升中派位 for my boy as Tak Nga's secondary school is a girls school.

Hi Tracytang,

My hesitation is same as you.  Heard from BK mom and searched from website, many people said that Tak Nga is a good school and their academic stanard is higher than others.  My friend's two kid are studying in RHS.  He told me that the school is very good but no more homework.

Would you please share more your opinions on Tak Nga? Do you mean that the academic standard of Tak Nga is higher than the rest of the two? Please kindly share.

To me, I think Tak Nga is my third choice among the three. Although my understanding of Tak Nga is not much, I find to mix a boy w/ so many girls seem not quite healthy. I think there's no problem of putting a boy in a boy school or co-edu school. However, it seems quite odd to put a boy w/ so many girls. This is my view.

其實係interview day, 我同佢地既副校長傾過, 當時我的小朋友已經入左去interview, 佢同我講, 係佢地學校d男生個個都好斯文, 好乖, 佢地反而會特別take care d男仔, 到小六時, 校長只會俾推薦信d男同學.  還有一點我喜歡德雅是因為小朋友至少不會打架.  如讀準校, 機會便會多很多了. 我家姐告訴我, 她朋友的兒子也是女校男生...但成績很特出, 特別是數學.  最後她的兒子入了皇仁書院.  他也是個斯文型的男孩子.  for me, 我鍾意男仔斯斯文文, 文質彬彬的.我相信有女孩子帶領著, 男仔點都會乖些同定d.
