得5分的老二,你們怎麼樣?

我的二仔幸運有間私校收咗,自行分配預咗無得玩,
無想過特登走去洗禮去攞個10分,一心只等大抽獎,
所以,我覺得只得5分那些老二、老三其實都幾無奈。

其實我自己大仔當年全軍覆沒,唯有waiting list私校,好在最後都有收,所以,細佬有得跟哥哥,不過,最好係有得讀間唔洗交學費、而自己又覺得好的學校啦!弟婦就有啲煩,因為個大女
上年入到女校,出年生個係仔,到時搵學校又要四周撲!

I don't understand it either, why does the government wants us to have more babies and penalize us for doing so!!???

I've a girl and a boy, so I must apply for mix schools otherwise my young one will be at a disadvantaged.  Older one is limited to a few selections should I want a good school.

2nd round allocation does not involve points hence mark six for schools.

No point or even only has 10 point for the 2nd baby. Such 10 point is meaningless.
Try to train up our 2nd baby and make them become more competitive. This is the only we can do for the coming year.

非常同意你所講，當我大女當年入了一間女校，我就不敢怠慢咁train嗰細仔．因為沒有分在手，只有靠他自己的本事．自行選校已經沒有行，好彩都考到間心儀的小學，現在才不用愁．終於渡過這惶恐的半年了！
祝各位好運！
或者政府會改變遊戲規則啦！

Calculated risks on the 2nd kid by not selecting mix school for the 1st.    The system is sexist against brothers and sisters kids.

有無人試過提出意見呢?  記起數年前, 有個媽咪就中學派位作出投訴 (係咪平機會呢?), 就男生女生比例而派位, 結果改變了中學派位機制

現在的小一派位對排第二或以後的子女好不公平, 哥哥姐姐未必派得好, 又要做細的跟住讀?  哥哥姐姐讀的學校又未必適合細佬妹, 又或者哥哥姐姐入了男女校, 私立直資, 搬咗屋等等.....父母/兄姐畢業的又加10分(兄姐仍在學的加20分係合情合理), 唔通受歡迎的小學就永遠世襲落去?  為何中學派位又不是這樣?  既然已畢業了, 有何理由要加分?  無分的就永遠要靠抽獎運?

All true.  In the eyes of our great leaders all P schools are the same.  Hence, this where the problem lies!   In reality we all know which P schools (private, government, etc.) are best as such demand outstrips supply.   We all know that S school allocation is very much dependent on which P school as the standards are so different.

Furthermore, the private and government schools P allocation system is sooo bad - stressful on kids, parents, and schools.  

As I've said before, government needs get its head out of the ground and face reality.  Having a pluralistic society does not mean it does produce it next generation of leaders.   Otherwise, we left with a SAR of shopkeepers, tourist operators and merchandisers - how long will this last!!!???

老公小學是聖德勒撒, 間學校執咗..
細仔唔知點攪....
應該沒有希望.
唯有培育佢自己考私校/直資..

人人都話1女 + 1仔好完美,
真係有苦自己知...

好同意另一位媽咪說 why are we penalize for having more kid in the education system!

我試過在BK論壇批評過世襲制的不公平及這個荒謬的跟住區的小學派位制度.可是,我即時已被那些世襲制下得益者插得體無完膚.
我想我們這班人真是要組織起來,向教育局或平机會表達我們的不滿.

Yes and no.  First round - advantageous if 2nd kid select for same school as 1st; no chance if select a different school.  Hence, bro and sis are at disadvantage.  Limited to mix schools for round 1, else 2nd kid has to wait for 2nd round.  Boy boy or girl girl are not disadvantaged as they can select boy /girl or mix school.

2nd round, all the same mark six school.
