其實我昨天都在st cat 遇上很多0712的小朋友, 她們都是十分乖巧, 因此如果不幸落弟的都不用灰心, 進不了名校不代表什麼。

而且從這些名校挑學生的方法亦知該校一二, 例如要小朋友獨自玩耍, 看小朋友能否獨立和自律, ...

方方eng都係好好的, 我個b番左一個月n班已經好大改變, 番左學之後, 很like睇書, 我接佢放學一上車佢睇拎書出黎睇, 番到home 洗完白白又拎書出黎see, 係自動自覺架, 同埋有時佢會彈1,2句英文單字出黎, 因為我地都係同佢母語的, 這些英文應該是在學校學番黎的

方方除中文係母語教之外, k1是用普通話教
其他都是英文教的

我路過架, 想問下你小朋友是中英班定國際班呢? 我b預備插班入PRE-NURSERY 國際班想知多少少現在就讀既情況呢. 不過我都報緊其他學校既k1, 因為有其他心儀既學校.

我都好同意要報下二三綫嘅幼稚園, 起碼可以一鳥在手, 唔駛一間都無, 況且你想入名校, 可以k2轉啫. 唔單止金豬年多baby, mouse年出生率都好高, 所以你都要考慮清楚, 免得担誤小朋友學業.

my son is studying in funful international pn class. there were one net teacher as class teacher & two chinese teacher as assistance. as i'm also apply the other kgs for k1 but i feel that funful is quite good as his english standard were improving.

我b係中英班, 但我覺得方方係重eng多d, 因為我b番左學之後like 睇eng書多d, 中文都會睇, 但睇英文多d囉~

Eng 係好重要, 但大家千其唔好忘記中文係很難學的語言, 只重Eng 放棄中文.

現家外老都學中文呀!!!

This is rather harsh, as parents we want the best for our kids and think our kids are the smart if not smartest.   Hence, why shouldn't we try for the "best" schools?  May be 5/6 schools are not enough given the number of applicants is so big.   I met this mother, at an interview session, who applied to 15 kinders for her girl.   

I guess a realistic assessment of our kids and realistic expectations are needed to determine the type of kinder required.

又唔係話唔可以try best schools, 只係現實就係咁harsh, 應該分散投資, 高風險, 中風險同低風險都要入d, 如心態非名校不入, 只報數間名校, 未免太冒險, 小朋友interview都係講狀態, 入唔到唔代表佢地唔smart。

Kit234, don't be so frustrated coz most of the KGs still haven't release the result yet. Even more, some schools still have yet to conduct an interviews.

Top Tier / Famous KGs are good but you also need to think of your kid's characters for choosing KG for your kid. I read Ming Pao "PaPaMaMa" section and it talks about parent's choosing school for their kids. Some kids suitable for more traditional teaching while some may suit for more interactive teaching, so you need to think about your kid and the KG which fits him. Just like St. Cat & KV are totally 2 different kinds of KG which stress on different subject (KV is more focus on Math & Chinese while St. Cat is more on English), so think about that you want your kid to do or what is the best for him / her should be more important.

Just try your best, be relaxed!
