1 德望小學是否可直升中學？
2 學費貴唔貴 ?
3 及其它科目用中文or 英文教呢?
4 是否用普通話教or 廣東話教?
5 有無Native Teacher ?
6 體育堂有無游泳教or 只可參加私人泳班？
7 有什麼校內的課外活動可參加?
8 一年有幾多次測驗及考試？
9 一星期有多少次默書?

Hope to know more about the education method and arrangement about Goodhope before make the final decision as I have other offer on hand.

Dear cy664,

1. Six years later, nobody know what's going on, they have a protection net (Secondary section).
Secondary section is DSS school, and a lot of choice in Hong Kong then if you have a very good foundation in Primary.
2. School fee is HK$3,731.00 per month.
3. Primary 1 majority use Chinese, they do have English Maths and English General Studies.
4.  Cantonese for Chinese lesson, but they've Putonghua lesson.  Personally, I don't suggest Putonghua teach Chinese as parents hard to teach them in some ways.
5. They've NET teacher but I guess only ONE or TWO.  That's is something I think it is not enough in the school for Oral lesson.  But most of the primary school like this.  If either father or mother speak English to your daughter should be enough.  Traditionly, GH is very good in English.
6. No swimming PE in P.1, you may join private tutor lesson recommended by school.
7. No extra activities in P.1, starting in P.2.
8. Two assessments and Two examination.  Even one subject failed, your daughter has to remain on the same grade coming year.  Very strict!
9. Two dictations (One Chinese and One English), you have more than enough time to prepare.

Personal comment;
1. No matter how good of schools, parents' effort is the most important part to catch up the primary education.  Teach them the right way to learn.
2. No doubt for GH is a very good primary school for girls.  No matter what's the comment on Secondary school some how in other forums.
3. I'm proud to have my daughters in GH.

Thank you for your detailed reply.
I may have one more choice, 天神。Will be confirmed next week.
It is really hard for me to make a selection between them.
I really know the English level and facilitiate in GH is better. But I need to pay school fee for 6-12 years and the location of GH is a little bit far than 天神.
On the othe hand, 天神 can enter St Mary Secondary School. The secondary school of St Mary may be better than secondary school in goodhope.
I find different selection for those two school in other parents. Some of them select 天神, some of them select GH. Just like apple and orange. Both is better. Hardly for me to determine.

If you have such offer, how to select ?

If I have both, honesty I will take "Holy School" that is through train to St. Mary without school fee.

If we exclude the factor of 'through-train', is Holy Angel a good school in terms of academic results, teachers' quality and campus?
