朗思(九龍塘),學之園(凱帆),維多利亞(君匯港),迦南(九龍塘)-which one you prefer?

很難選, 頭3間都差唔多,

論名氣, victoria最好, 知名度較高 (可能多名人後代去讀), 但我想問下, 你有無想過, 你的小朋友升乜野類型小學?

如果好似我咁, 很大機會參加統一派位, 但又想試下報幾間直資/私校, 咁就選間中間路線的, 即朗思和學之園, 因為維記學費5萬幾一年, 比朗思和學之園的3萬幾貴一截, 如果到最後升小時係參加大抽獎, 就真係比較浪費, 唔需要報間咁貴.  如果你唔想參加大抽獎, target只係英文私校, 選維記較適合.  

朗思和學之園, style和level差唔多, 大家都係sell兩文三語, 學生俾我的感覺同樣係外向活潑和敢言, 我兩間都鐘意, 如果只可二選一, 我會選朗思, 因為朗思的名氣好似略高一線, 而且我參觀過學衣園的青衣分校, 學校給我有點commercial的感覺 (只係個人感覺, 希望大家唔好介意, 這校其他方面我也很滿意).

Thanks Jaycee_mami.  Your comments fit my situation very much as I also want to take a 中間路線 and make sure bb's English can be above average.  

I have a further questions: are most of the Think's students taking English/Cantonese or full English class?  I originally applied full English class, but the teacher suggested me to apply for Eng/Cantonese class.

我地未入讀架, 只係明年初才插班, 開學後先可以同你分享多D.

據我了解, 全英班要家長配合, 學校會睇下你地家庭係咪可以支援到小朋友,

我阿仔interview時, 老師都叫我地k1時選粵英班instead of 普英班, 因為仔仔係超細仔 (12月), 學野比大仔慢, 選粵英班容易適應D.

THINK N1 class, KT campus 每天有1 小時英文堂。但美孚分校只有15-30 分鐘。請問係唔係真的？如果真，就有可能價錢唔一樣。

To me, I faced the similar situation with you in last year but I selected Victoria (HG).

1.  Think's (KLN Tong) principal said not 100% promote to K1
2. Victoria (only Harbour Green as brand new) is 100% promote to K1
3. No need to take school bus and walking distance and the then total costs per month is similar.

Victoria is really a very happy kinder and rich resource.

My son is also studying at THINK MOS, he like to school everyday and esp. like the Eng teacher, he'll talk to me about his school life and i can feel that he is enjoy in this school. In my view, I do think this is a good school and it's not that money-oriented school (唔係掠水既學校). However, i can see the change of my son no matter on his discipline and self-control for just few months school life, also he can learn how to share and study some basic words which is in a comfortable way (no hard feeling) but not like those traditional kindergarten i think (compare with some friend's children)

I don't know that not all of the THINK N1 students can be promoted to K1 directly.  Do you have idea of the accetance %?  I hope it's just a conservative statement.

Thanks.  I also have good overall impession towards THINK coz I've friens' kid studied and studying in THINK.  Too be frank, I haven't heard of THINK before he recommend this Kinder to me.  After I've read the shaing in this forum, I'm now very relieved with this as my boy's core choice available on hand.  

But you know, people always look for the better.  Some friends told me that there are other bette ones, like Victoria, Learning Habitat which I consider these controversil (notwithstading KM, HKPS, which are relativey uncontrovesial).  Thus, seeking other parents' advice.

但係,我想問原來Victoria N1 student吾駛再考而可直升 K1?? or 只係HG branch係咁呢?

The staff in KT THINK also mentioned that existing N1 students must have higher priority in promoting directly to K1. But anyone know exactly the %?
