I learnt that some children who had attended the interview on 17 Oct had already received the acceptance letters. I just want to know if any one who did not attend the seminar still received the acceptance letter already ?
My kid being interviewed on 17 Oct
I did not attend the briefing on 16 Oct

Dicdic, thanks for your information. I called the school yesterday and the girl said my son had passed the interview but requested me to attend the coming seminar. She even told me I could simply stay for a while but needed to take the registration card and returned to school after filling in the required information. I really don't understand why they wish to pressure us to attend the seminar even though I said I did attend similar seminar in the last one/two years and I had enough knowledge about their school and their education vision and mission. Anyway, I chose to attend the session to be held at 1pm in the coming Sat.
i will go for the briefing today too. I have to go there from Tuen Mun, I really dont understand why the school forces us to go for it. However, for the future of my daughter, no choice

Did you call YORK and ask the reason for the parents must attend the seminar before they send the offer letter even though your kid has passed the interview ?
per my understanding, the seminar should be a briefing introduction for the syllbus & the course that they provide for YORK's kid.
May be you send a call to them for clarification to be fair to your kid as well.
Miuccia224, thanks so much for your advice. I did call the school and talked to the admin staff. I also explained to her that I once attended their briefing in the past so I had good knowledge of their school and their requirements. As I am not really keen to study in York, I decide not to join the briefing. I got back up already. The reason for application is to widen my son's experience in attending interviews. The process is good and in fact I find that their teachers are nice too. Up to now, I have not received their result letter.
