I don't think the Principal would like to interview those who're interviewed by the VP first, as my friend rec'd the call today by the schedule interview falls on the last day of 2nd interview... If it is the case, my friend should be interviewed next week.

8th Nov is Sunday, so, last call should be made until 6/7th and 2nd interview will end by 11 Nov ... ie given 3/4 days notice ... rush.

100% confirmed all the calls were made yesterday. Their original schedule was to finish all the calls till next week, but finally they finished earlier. No more hope...

Let's concentrate on other schools...

But I'm little surprised, a couple of my friends' kids are bright, and related, but  seems they haven't received any call yet.

very hard to predict...they need to choose 1 kid out of 10 kids in just 15 mins spent on each kid on average. Luck is part of factor for sure. If the kids are bright and still want to go into that secondary school, chance is still there. My friend's kid was the case.

Actually most of my friends who are bright and ex-boys of co-ed only studied in the secondary school, i.e. mostly they got top marks in their own primary school and successfully admitted into co-ed.  Then they went on to get top HKCEE marks.

that's understandable as kids' potential are more expressed when they are at 12 yrs old vs. 5 yrs old. That's also a problem of through-train schools to have best student pool for secondary school

One is small girl, the other one is around Jul.  But I knew from this thread that a kid born in late Nov (small boy) and is unrelated, is still being offered 2nd int.  So never know the truth.

If yours is a small girl, then you may consider to re-enroll her onto next year's game again, if you don't have a good enough offer this year.  Mine is born in summer, no choice.

She got one offer from an OK school. I am not sure i want to go through all these games again! I am waiting for SSCPS result, if ok, that will be a bonus to me; if not, I just move on to the offer she have, which indeed is a good school although is not top of mind.

Frankly, at the begining, since I have one offer on hand, I am pretty calm. Maybe because of having an offer, my 'expectation' to be offered an 2nd interview from DGJS and Co-ed is getting higher, so, when both DGJS and Co-ed fail, I really feel depressed.

Ever since last Sat, these few days really tough ...



But i will remind myself to move on ... my girl is great and she has her talent yet to discover.
