winter uniform (socks)

Does anyone know whether the student needs to wear the school designated socks bought from Kingcow?  For boys, there are long socks for short pants, while short socks for long pants.  I think it's ok for the long socks, but I'm wondering who will see the socks for long pants??

as far as u wear dark blue socks is Ok, the 'school socks' is not a must.

but the 'school sock' is very good quality, as my elder daughter say so.  She likes to wears the long school socks.  And boy likes to wear short pants even in winter time, so buy both short and long is more convenience to have spare for changing, esp at spring and humid days....

And can boys wear long pants not from Kingcow? (because I already have a long dark blue one looks similar to the one from Kingcow)

do you whether we have to buy both short and long pants? could we just wear long pants in winter?
