請問靈糧堂課程

因欲提小兒報讀 2010 K1，故請教以下資料：

多出外參觀？
多美藝活動？
K3 時會否寫句子？
一星期有多少外藉老師英文 / 普通話課？
宗教教育是否濃厚？
多基督徒老師？

懇請賜教！！Tks!

我孩子諗k1，未試過外出參觀，但知道k2、k3學生試過。不過試過聯校親子旅行，今年到深圳，自由參加。

>多美藝活動？

我覺得足夠，全部都是孩子在學校自己做，不是親子功課。而學校非常重視音樂。

>K3 時會否寫句子？

不知道。

>一星期有多少外藉老師英文 / 普通話課？

k1一星期兩次英文課，一次普通話課，每次20分鐘。

>宗教教育是否濃厚？

是。每次茶點前都會禱告，聖經話也是專科老師教。

>多基督徒老師？

不清楚，只知道有宣教老師。

多出外參觀？一年一次旅行, 家長可當義工參加, 通常上附近郊野公園. k1 仲有一次會帶小朋友出外坐地下鐵或船(坐邊種交通工具由小朋友自己決定, 家長都係可以參加義工工作)

多美藝活動? 足夠

K3 時會否寫句子？有句子寫, 每星期要做newspaper cutting.  功課每日一至兩樣, 星期五會多少少.

一星期有多少外藉老師英文 / 普通話課？已經答咗

宗教教育是否濃厚？個人覺得濃厚

多基督徒老師？好多老師都係基督徒

我囡囡K3，功課會寫句子，而且啲句子會有關聯性，每日寫嘅句子都巧妙安排，令小朋友更易記得。

I would like to add on that I personally feel that the coverage on sentences writing is very limited.  All news clippings are assisted by parents.  For the news clipping, I usually need to write on a piece of paper what he wants to say and let him copy.  They only teach very easy sentence structures at K3 at school.  I have to spend tonnes of time helping my boy recognise the words (but I'm a working mum), not to say dictating.  That's the key fallback that you might need to consider, especially if you're planning to put your kid in a traditional primary school.  

Other than that, I think the school offers a very very good environment for the kids.

Hi Littlefaith
But do you need to spend much time to help your girl recognising words? I'm buying some P1 exercise books to teach my kid now. But it's just limited to English only at this stage.  I really think that their English is too simple. Chinese is better, but also quite easy though.  I have bought tonnes of books at home to read through the words with him every day.  He doesn't like the cards from the school at all.  Maybe I worry to much.

Would you please state some examples that how simple English it is?

Dear 點算好
They have phonics, vocab and writing. English is taught by NET teachers. I think they have 2 NETs in the main branch that my kid is going.
For phonics, I think the pace is still a bit slow.  They started A to Z and have just started sh, ch...  Haven't started more complex combinations like ar, ou, ...yet
For vocab, we have a set of cards every year.  My boy can recognise (because I teach him at home from other sources) all the words before they teach him.
Writing - They start writing alphabets in small letters and capital letters and continue until K2. In K3, just limited to very simple single words like cat, dog, boy.

唔該, 我想知道靈量堂和聖保羅堂兩著每一間D課程會接近小學的, 因為本人想找一間比較接近小學的課程學校就讀,, 如果這樣的話小學就不用太辛苦了.... 請指教..... 請PM...
