我們跟st paul 是零關係, 爸爸不是old boys, 沒有宗教信仰, 住在偏遠新界區的平民

Don't worry about "marks" la, 7 years ago the first DSS year, when handing in the application, my son did not have christian faith, no relationship with the school,  was accepted.  Now he is a happy boy in secondary.  

Mrs. Chan spoke well in the very first briefing to that very first DSS intake, 'If it was not the switch to DSS, most of you would not be sitting here."

For sharing, the question asked 7 years ago was,"Can you tell me some differences between an ordinary park and the Ocean Park?"

The school is looking for good observation and logical mind.

咁如果 1st interview old boys 有 10 分, 咁 2nd interview 係咪所有小朋友都由零開始, 定係嗰 10 分仲喺度嫁

好好把握第二次面試比較重要

我仔當初冇宗教 冇兄長爹地舊分..
亦都有考到

現在進到第二輪 共有300人
300個都很優秀  
90人可以中...但始終都可能有近200未必會得到
但話唔定這考唔到的200人去了更好的學校 如SPCC 或DBS  ...等...

not 150, i think they don't have 5 P.1 classes..less than 100, I think. I have forgotten the exact figures.

Right.  According to the school website, they only have 3 classes of P1 and only have 90 seats in total.

Well, eventually most of these 300 can go to good DSS school.  Why? It is because the same batch usually also have 2nd interview offers from the two, three or even four schools, which they have applied.

Then some of these children will be accepted by more than one school in the first round of offer from those schools, while a good majority of the remaining children will be put in waiting lists of the schools.  As no one can take up more than 1 seat in Sept 2010, so most of the 300 boys will be accepted by one of the DSS schools at the end of the day.  This also true for girls.

Even there is no offer in this round of hard exercise, it is not the end of the world.  Last year, a boy had no offer, not even waiting list, from any DSS school, end up in Wah Yan Primary, without catholic faith or connection.

So, there is no need to give unnecessary pressure to oneself and the child, just enjoy the process.

By the way, there are only 3 classes and about 93 places in SPCPS.

9 月初會有 application form download, 但由有 form download 到截表時間唔超過 2 個星期, 所以由 8月尾到9月頭就要留意學校個 website, 而且最好 8 月中就 ready 所有資料啦

你估second interview 是否有次序之分? 會否 跟第一次面試的分數去排?  因我知道有些人在今個星期見, 有些則在月底才見

應該依照申請編號來安排面見日期同時間.

我的朋友的編號是07X, 但他旳第二次面見在29號, 另一朋友的編號是16X, 但他這個星期便面見了.

Do you know if your friend (no. 16x) has relationship with the school (i.e. old boy or religious)?
