Yes, the 生炒骨 are bones only. We tried in London China Town, it's about GBP5, the taste was good but no meat.....
We have also tried the Aberdeen Angus Steak - the steak were very hard even we ordered 40% rare, costed GBP68 + 10% for 3 persons, no drinks included.

Aberdeen Angus Steak我未試過, 不過我去過一間喺Chelsea區o既扒就好得, 食之前佢會攞幾件扒(生肉)俾客人睇同介紹, 無論環境同個扒都好得, 其實嗰條街都好多嘢食, 仲有馬來西亞餐廳, 印度餐廳, 行出啲又有意大利餐廳, 好多選擇.  Aberdeen Angus Steak環境比較公式化, 我記得喺London火車站附近有一間, 我見到係一排排卡位咁坐(唔知有冇記錯呢?) 另外有bar位咁.  China Town啲嘢食麻麻哋的, 如果想食返香港人口味o既餐廳, 可以去皇朝, 喺baker street, 好多香港人去嗰度食(可能要訂枱), 好過china town啲餐廳, 下次不妨試試

Oh yes, we're at that steak house - opposite to the Paddington station.  Just because of my son could see inside, so he wanted to try.  

We also tried the Indian restaurant at Shrewsbury, very good but too spicy for us.

My son's school is in York.  Only tuck shop in the school.  No shop around.

Sounds that you have visited many places.  we just went to China town, Regent street(but nothing was bought) and the Paddington.

You mentioned that the debit card can buy thing by"記賬" How is it?

My son's school also in the countryside, the school will have town visit every Sat and stay 3 hours.  They can go to the shopping mall or supermarket or bank.

BTW, Is GBP20 really enough for 1 term?

Hi all mama,

講一個零用錢的故事給大家聽, 話說有個同學仔一去到英國, 就好好籌備日後上學的日用品, 但準備得太充足了, 以佢本人來講, 當然係gd 啦, 不足一個月時間, 零用已用得7788, sorry, 係應該991010, 所以便吩咐老媽寄多少錢比佢啦, 但佢父母都覺得佢太揮霍了, 便暫停供應, 但同學就非但不自我檢討, 反而對母親發脾氣, 還在上堂時借意向其他同學出氣, 而且一手把書本推落地, 令那位無辜同學難堪不已, 當眾落淚, 事後該同學不但毫無悔意, 而且還若無其事的有說有笑, 唉...真的替那位有公主病的同學可悲, 也替她的父母蒙羞, 日後的日子不知怎樣渡過了??

落淚果個係我個囡, 面對呢類公主病嘅同學, 佢覺得好無奈!  佢呢個同學係一向如此, 因為大家係香港都係同學, 只係甘啱係英國又同一間學校!!

因為我2個小朋友喺唔同省份讀書, 直情連方向都唔同, 所以需要去唔同地方(都幾辛苦ga, 動輒要揸3個鈡頭車, 如果同日來回要6個鈡, 可想而知幾辛苦~不過係我老公), 同埋有時喺英國時會遇到其他同校家長, 都會相約食飯, 所以就知多小小, 遲啲你都會熟識嗰度啲地方的.

記賬只係可以喺學校內進行, 如乾洗衣服(在宿舍內), 在學校school shop內買嘢.....到term end就會入埋invoice度.  喺街外就唔可以記賬. 而家要趕住去買餸(因為新阿姐唔識煮飯的), 回頭再傾

天意, 英國咁大, 咁多學校都比妳個囡再越上這公主, 真是無奈, 英國有無社工可以了解一下, 公主咁反叛, 在英國好容易給壞分子有機可乘, 父母口裹雖然說教不倒, 內心的痛苦, 做過父母的亦想像得到, 妳的女兒有向妳哭訴, 心裡的不快會隨著妳的關心而消失的, 不要太擔心了

有心了, thanks!

學校即時有問過佢地發生咩事, 公主就話佢同我個囡有d problem,  令我囡頓時含冤莫明, 即時落淚, 有幾位愛錫囡的老師/同學前來慰問, 但囡沒有再提及事件, 希望淡化...

囡話係學校基本上吾使用錢, 每個weekend學校都會安排shopping , 可以自由參加, debit card 多數用黎增值電話, 係是但一間便利店之類都可以, 如果debit card 無錢就無得碌, 比較安全!
