Think - interview for PN

今日in Think (LC),問過老師,佢話每日只有15mins英文,另外英文老師會,say,今日o係呢班,聽日o係果班,每班輪住咁stay耐d o係班內做一些活動!

但我同老公始終都覺得15mins好似真係太少了.......

有無媽媽都有問過呢個問題??

當日interview老師第一個問題，就係問囝囝識唔識講野，咁我自己無經驗，即刻就答左唔係好識。其他指令除左要翻譯，其實全部都做到。

有時睇到其他爸爸媽媽既留言，就開始更加擔心個仔，究 ...

封信付有一頁健康證明，我拎比囝囝睇開既醫生幫佢填，因為睇開，唔洗比錢。好簡單，醫生寫了一切normal，簽個名，搞掂。好方便。

Today went registration for THINK KT am N1 class for my son.  Decided to give up Mei Foo and hope can release to other potential candidate asap.  Besides, have confirmed face to face with the staffs there that THINK KT N1's class language is: 1 hr Eng, 2 hr Cantonese (including 15 min PTH).  Then K1 will become 2 hr English.  K2-K3 will become Eng+pure PTH.  I think this arrangement is good for my boy's all-rounded development.  Besides, the time allocations for other campus are different from KT's, i.e. Eng around 15-30min in other campus.

Other than THINK KT, I've also applied for 學之園(凱帆) and 維多利亞(君匯港).  Any other parents can give me some advice on the priority among these 3?

Think 同 Cannan，如果打算升讀傳統小學或直資小學/私小，哪一間較合適呢？

I might be returning England when my daughter finish UK class next year.  But next year in case we have change of plan I will still take her for some interview at 1-2 primary school,  my first choice is PLK Camoes Tang Siu Lin, or St Margaret co-education primary school.    When student promote to the UK class that year, they have Primary one meetings at September to advice parents how to fill the Primary One allocation form.  I think they also invite past student parents to come and share their experience on how their child did after studying at Think.

When I chose to let my son studied in THINK (LC) last year, I didn't know that different campus has different time allocated for Eng. After reading more threads in BK .. seems that THINK (KT) is very attractive . haha

At that time, I just compared nursery schools in Lam tin area as I don't want him to travel too long to go to school (a bit too harsh for a 2-yr old kid). I think compared to many nursery schools in the area, 15 mins per day is already quite a lot. Many just have 1-2 (also 15 mins) Eng lesson a week.  

THough he just joined in the 2nd term last year and he just had 15 -30 mins Eng a day, he learnt a lot of vocabs and I do think he understands most of the instruction in Eng too. That's why I think the arrangement is ok for me.

How to fill in the Health Check Form?? How much does it cost?

Just find a doctor to fill in ... cost depends on individual doctors. Ususally is around $150

咁我個醫生又幾好喎，無收我錢呢。囝囝由出世都而家都係睇佢，可能因為呢個原因啦！
