Think - interview for PN

I've called both KT and Mei Foo campus for THINK N1 class: KT campus 每天有1 小時英文堂。但美孚分校只有15-30 分鐘。請問係唔係真的？如果真，就有可價錢唔一樣。

正常黎講教署規定留位費最多$660, 其餘的都是可以退回, 即是第一個月學費+書簿+校服等, 不過佢一早收左份自動轉賬表格就奇d, 通常係開學briefing時才交. 當你有其他offer就立即寫信通知佢地, 我估最遲嗰d(km, victoria)4月都一定有結果, 到時通知think你唔讀. 要預左佢地可能先扣, 之後再退, 因為自動轉賬你授權左比佢地.

Think (MF) 收左我女女讀 am class，當日佢表現得好好，全部識晒，連老師冇問嘅嘢，都自己話俾老師知！
不過，我啱啱先知n1原來每日只有15mins英文，我覺得太少了，而且我女女只鐘意英文，唔鐘意講 cantonese，依家有少少15/16。
請問N1一般會有幾多小時/mins英文課？

my son last year had PTH n Eng in N1 too (THINK LC).. but I guess  just 15 mins (or 30 mins.. I forgot) for Eng each day. For PTH, I don';t know how often he had lesson but he always sang those PTH songs learnt at sch.  

U better check with the branch you have applied for. But then my son did learn a lot of Eng vocabs (Orally, of course) even he just had 15 mins a day..like he could say .." Monday to Friday;  sunny days ; raining etc" in which I didn't really teach him ..

This year he's in K1 and now he has far more Eng lesson time.

Hi, twinsstar.  My daughter will have an interview at Think (LC) this Fri.
Are the teachers there caring and patient?  Do the students always have the extra-curricular activities and outings?

PTH n Eng........but isn't that bilingual lower nursery only hv English/Cantonese?

bbysh, thanks for sending us the link. Actually, i have friend's kids studied in Think before, they said it is very good & some withdraw coz they said it is not as good as before.

I have a big headache now.

The teachers are VERY nice and patience... esp nursery class. My son joined the class in the 2nd term and his class teacher called everyday to report his progress to me for a mth! Even afterwards, she called once every 2 mths. (Don't know it;s the practice of individual teachers or sch policy). They will also give us progress report form(1-2 per mth) to inform us  about their progress at school.

SInce he just joined in the 2nd term, he just went on a bus trip and did observation of different types of transport outside the school campus plus the "picnic" in LC park (As far as I remember). I guess nursery class won;t have much outings. I mean they just mild ones / activities at school. My son is in K1 now and he will go to visit a Furniture store soon and I learnt from the sch notice that the LN students will go to visit a supermarket soon too.  

If you think language is important for your kids. I believe THINK is a good choice. And I love its creative environment too. Students learn and experience from different types of activities organised by the school.

However, the disadvantage to me is that .. it;s not as famous as some KG such as SC .. CCKG .. that's why I might think of applying those more famous KG despite the good points in THINK. I'm still struggling whether to change or not cos my son loves school very much and he did learnt a lot from this school.

我個仔仔都係IN得好好啊~~果日佢仲唱歌TIM,老師問佢叫咩名,佢講完自己個名仲話:l"m one year old . 佢都以英文為主.所以學校一收佢,我即時call學校問英文比重係幾多.結論是:日日1小時45分鐘廣東話,15分鐘國語,1小時英文,學校下年3月將會搬新學校,在附近,學校更新,size同現在的差唔多!我個仔仔是am班.有緣我地可能會認識!!! ^_^ 不過我還會in樂基,不知道樂基好orTHINK好???請問有無人知道啊???
