Hello!

Nice to meet you. Actually I still don't know my son's class number yet. He said teacher hasn't told him @_@. Since he just started today, there are a lot of stuff for him to catch up. Today he came back with his new handbook which I have no idea what he has written in such tiny space for Math, English and Others ..... please help if you know what are the listed items.

Overall, he is very happy about this school and his classmates. I guess that's good to know :>

Have your daughter joined any activities so far?

BTW, do you know which book/paper the 1A students need to review for this week's Chi Dict?

喂喂, 咁又唔得, 連默書都未知默邊度, 怏 d 打返學校搵 class teacher 問晒所有野啦, 上課時間都得架, 照打去 school office, 留低電話叫 class teacher 覆番你啦 ^__^ 有無學校電話呀 ?

Collins 的英文教科書出面普通書局係無架, 要返 Hong Kong Book Store / Swindon 先有架 ! 你打去 Swindon 叫佢地留貨, 貨到即 call 你去拎, 宜家你未有得用, 就打電話返學校搵亞仔的英文老師, 話佢知你買唔到, 叫佢 copy 要做的 pages 交比你仔仔用住先啦 !

小朋友喜歡學校已是值得,加油!
話時話我另一位小朋友都是1A的,如有需要看看我是否能幫忙,當年插班我也是多得其他DPS的家長幫忙的.

Hi All,

小兒是P.1B班插班生.  He started his new school life on 16/9.  We're still in a mess - (1) No English book & workbook.  (2) Not yet received the password of school intranet for checking homework.  Have informed class teacher about (1) & (2).  (3) He got English dictation last week but we didn't received the word list beforehand.  Luckily, he got 60% & he said he got the highest marks in the class.  I didn't believe him!!!

Never mind!  My son is very happy in the school.

Oh!  Forgot to thank for the teachers.  Both the class teacher and the English teacher called me and explained to me promptly after school.  The social worker is also very nice.  He has passed my words to the class teacher to ring me.

YES.DPS的家長都很低調,不過大家都很helpful.

話時話,DPS的小朋友大都很好,當年我的小朋友甚麼也不齊地轉了校,懵懵下,多得同學仔借他東西.

Thank you all for your encouragement and making me not feel alone =D.
After few days of confusion and phone calls, things are getting clear to me and my son. The 1A class teacher has been very nice and responsive in returning my calls. So just need to wait for the English workbooks and our login info to School Intranet to check the homework stuff, I guess I will feel more secure. I'm so glad my son is enjoying DPS a lot and he has been giving his best to write clearly on his handbook (although it's still confusing to read his writing ... hehe).

Jasmine's mom: my son also told me your daughter has been very nice and helpful to him as well. This helps him to fit in his class a lot. Thank you!!

i have one questions
學校幾多年班才有swimming team ???can u share?
u know now ECA swimming 2 instuctor..teach 14-15 children...dunt know why??
means 1instuctor teach 7 student ...how can??

你指的SWIMMING TEAM是SCHOOL TEAM嗎?
其實你只要在SWIMMING GALA中取得獎牌,便有機會被邀入隊受訓,學校會再選合適的小朋友出賽.

btw.. i hope i can give some feed back to school!
but dunt know who is inchange of ECA swimming activies??
cos now the eca swimming activities only 2 instuctor handle 15 children ,all parent can see it's so diffecult for them..& they cant easy handle !
in this 2 hours particies child is not easy to learn!
