Hi RoxaneMama,

My son is a shy boy, does the teacher ask question is a very kind way that easy for kid to answer them during the interview? Do u think should assist kid if he can't answer question directly? Does PTH/ENG class have am class?

讀am/pm class or 哪間學舍都是由st.cat安排的, 除非有充分的理由, 否則一切都不接受更改的...

Hi lawflorence,

Teachers seems do not like parents assist too much during the interviews.

Last year, during waiting, I saw one mother assisting her girls to answer, and the teacher said "I won't count her answer correctly in this way".

So better wait patiently and let your kid to answer the teacher, the teacher will use their way to help them.

If you really want AM class, then on the application form (when you received later), it will ask you to choose: AM/ PM/ Both. And there is also a question for you the choose : "If AM class is full, will you consider PM class". You can show your preference there.

Both AM and PM class has Eng/PTH classes.

But please note that all K2 are PM classes only.

Hi Lawflorence~

To give you further info fm my last yr's experience... our interviewer was a matured teacher, she asked questions politely but I won't comment that she used "very kind tone". However, as the interview went on, she became more friendly after my daughter was able to respond to the questions. (eventhough not all w/ correct answers)

So, to me, SC's interview is one that tested the overall ability (including understanding instruction/communicating/interpersonal skill and basic concepts of daily life) of the child and my daughter is now studying at their am class.

顧住搞大女升小一,忘記了幫細個拿form.
請問有冇好心家長拿多了一份St. Catherine的application form又或拿了而又未必申請?可否給我?唔該哂

雖然我都confirm左會有form, 但係就算有得in都仲有排爭, 都唔一定會收! 真係慘過打仗! 有冇人知佢今年排幾多份form呀?

Called for half a day today and finally got through the line....they said they'll send the application for out closer to the month end woh....YEAH!!!!

I called them yesterday around lunch time, really lucky one time got thorough and the luckier is that we got the form...

So do u know if K3 will split back to am/pm classes? Also any idea if choose interview in Cantonese, still any interview by PTH.

Coninuously called the School for at least 15 times, but finally able to reach it. Confirmed with the School that my son could get the application form, and they will mail it out by end of Sept.

Heard that they had received ~5,000 application forms within three days. That means, one out of about 10 kids can only be selected!!!

Do u think the curriculum is difficult enough for good preparation to traditional P1.
