有公司會替人做的，又貴，又要等1-2星期，而且又欠個人特色，不如自做好過

我有兩個做design嘅朋友都幫「朋友」嘅仔女做過portfolio，我見過其中一份，真係好靚，不過一睇就知係專業做嘅，所以我都係自己做。

I think it is better to make one yourself.  It should not be difficult.  Give it a try first.

I have seen the portfolios made by 3rd party companies.  They not good at all, only bulky.

Agree.  My comment is no need to waste the money because most of the schools prefer recycle and not accept a bulky portfolio.  Just simply and clear is okay.

I would think that spending money to make your porfolio look good would definitely give a bad impression to the school. Think about it, if the parent would rather spend money instead of spend time to make a porfolio, will you expect them to spend time on their kids?? --They would probably prefer spending $$ for their kids to attend classes instead ...

自己做啦,唔須要複雜,我上年都係4,5頁紙,米又係有7間學校收左我個女,最緊要係小朋友表現.

我記得同學仔媽咪舊年去過DBS個簡介會,DBS校長都話唔鼓勵家長揾人做portfolio,因個小朋友係自己嘅,應該自己最清楚,唔係第3者。更有講,若見有好厚、精美professional釘裝設計嘅portfolio,一律放埋一邊,唔睇!!!

call 果d面試班嘅centre 啦, 如好多人知的"X思", 不過早前朋友幫襯過, 俾幾千元仲一肚氣.

最僅要俾番computer file 可以自己修改和print out. 因學校要求的頁數和着重點不同, 以免到deadline 排長龍去求果間centre 幫你改.

作為過來人, 我自己係用word篤吓篤吓咁做, ok咗!!

每間學校每年收到約2000份portfolio, 如果校長/主任每本睇1分鐘 --->要30+小時, 約1星期才看完.

所以你期望1分鐘傳達什麼message 俾學校: 小朋友才藝?家庭支持?宗教信仰?...

通常第一頁是小朋友summary, 如幼稚園/家庭/宗教背景, 之後是有重要性的recommendation letters 和certificates. recommendation letters 是指幼稚園/教會/父母寫的信. certificates 是比賽/參加証明書.

再有空頁就加些小朋友的圖畫/手工/詩歌或家庭照加些趣味. 個人感想就可免則免了, nobody will care !!

最多約10頁好了, 記往要focus 你的重點, selling point.

父母信只是show誠意吧了!!由其是新派非傳統學校, 很在意父母是否buy 學校的理念, 上網查吓mission, vision and philiosophy... 才寫吧!! 仲有介紹吓小朋友的長處, 家庭培育..等.

唔要太長, 大大隻字, 唔係就睇到人地眼訓, 至於有冇其他料要show off, 就靠D super dad and mum 自己!!

BK 都有好多sample letters!!
