Hello Tommay,

My son's teacher is Mr. Choi. I knew from your the other post that your teacher is Mr. Yip.

According to friend of mine whose kids are the students of Mr. Yip, he is a very qualified and good teacher but he could be very demanding. However, the result could be very rewarding under his teaching and if the kid works hard and puts great efforts in the learning.

我地同一班都分咁多小提琴老師教? 有姓葉, 姓黃 & 姓蔡, 因為之前唔知響邊度睇倒有個媽媽話唔知邊個教得唔好, 所以有D擔心, 我都係 WORKING MA MA, 所以陪唔倒小朋友一齊上堂

I heard of that as well from other parents regarding the quality of some violin teachers. Where did you find these comments?

But one thing I knew from my friend that Mr. Yip is a good teacher and the kid would achieve rewarding results if he/she could follow/accept his style of teaching!

I'm a full time mom and I'll accompany my son for his violin class.

How old is your elder daughter?  Is it easier to get a seat for APS for the younger kid if the elder sister/brother is studying in APS.  I would like to know because I have a younger one who is going to kindergarten now.

Dear dcba,

My elder daughter is now in P.5. I'm not sure whether sibling would enjoy certain advantages or have the priority, as I heard in some cases that sibling was either rejected or placed in the waiting list.

Also there is a substantial number of places reserved for Alliance kindergarten students each year. Say for example, about 60 places (half of the total based on the calculation of 4x40 students for P.1) have been reserved for those kindergarten students this year.

But I think the decisive factors would be the potential of the kid and his/her performance during the interview.

Anyway don't worry too much! There are still many successful cases!

起初小兒被選了學小提琴 , 真有點擔心這些傳聞是真的。但是既然是上天安排就隨遇而安啦! 如真不適合 , P2再找私人學習。

意思係: 做科學書Book 1 P.2-3,
           14/9(Day 1)會檢查.
我的囡囡在手冊11/9也有再寫一次,她說是老師叫他們寫的,我諗是提醒他們記得做.
