今天校車遲了半個鍾頭才來，保姆個手提仲要無開。我女兒YEAR 2了，是否會分班？幾時知道？

Dear parents,

Very chaotic today for the school-bus service!

I have a question. I got a note posted on the handbook that I need to bring "magazine trays". Does it mean that I need to buy the tray with a few layers for my child to use in the classroom?
Does anybody know?

今日校車成1點才送囡囡回來，又找不到保母，唉~~~

Magazine tray 是否1年班暑假前取回家的那個，老師說開學要帶返學的。

今年小一有6班, 問了一位老師是怎樣編班(按年齡或幼稚園?)她說是隨機編配的. 平均每班有24-25人. 小二以上就唔知.

去年Year 1 升 Year 2是不用分班的, 只是今年要, 但不知道原因.

恩恩媽咪, yes it was the same magazine tray and the clip board that Y1 teacher returned to parents in July parent-day. Just bring it back it will be used throughout each level.

some of our parents did ask teachers, school feels that it's better to re-group student from Y1 to Y2 by evenly distributing some top students across all classes, this would help each other learning; another reason is without re-group some kids become too strong character and only play with a few best friends as noticed in Y3.
This was what we heard and hopefully we'll see significant progress on our kids and so to prove that it works.

My son promoted from P1E is in P2D this year.   I don't know the criteria for re-distributing the students into different classes.   But my son told me that he only got 3-4 old classmates.   If this is true, it is very interesting.

多識朋友, 多接觸不同同學, 是有助social skills, 又可互相學習
我孩子今小六, 分班3次, 現在班班都有朋友
以我所認識的家長, 大部份都贊成分班

校車公司解釋: (1) 要中學部校車出發後,才到小學部.  (2)學校要求所有學生上車後, 校車才可以一架跟一架的離開.

我也有二十萬個為什麼??

若没有記錯，中學的放學時間比小學的還要遲噃，點解？點解？
