四國際學校機構獲分配土地

教育局公布四幅供國際學校發展的全新土地分配結果，指新建的學校將提供3500個中小學學額。

教育局局長孫明揚    表示，四幅位於九龍及新界的全新土地，已順利分配予4個辦學團體興建國際學校，合共提供約3500個中小學學額，以滿足對國際學校學額的需求。

是次土地分配工作共接獲14份申請，詳細分配結果如下：

（１）Kellett School Association Limited，獲分配土地位於九龍灣啟祥道及宏光道交界；

（２）香港九龍塘基督教中華宣道會，獲分配土地位於荔枝角瓊林街前荔枝角寮屋區；

（３）The Hong Kong Academy Educational Foundation Limited，獲分配土地位於西貢    墟第4區惠民路及美聯街交界；

（４）哈羅國際學校（香港）有限公司，獲分配土地位於屯門    青山公路掃管笏第48區前軍營。

首三幅土地（即九龍灣、荔枝角及西貢墟的土地），每幅將分配作為發展一所包括中小學部的國際學校，以擴展或重置有關辦學團體現有的國際學校。

至於屯門的一幅土地，則分配作為發展一所設有小學及中學部的全新國際寄宿學校，寄宿設施將提供予中學部學生使用。

有關學校將由2012/13學年起，逐步提供新增學位，最終達致合共約3500個學額（包括約1300個小學及約2200個中學學額）。

yes, the Education Bureau of Hong Kong has allocated to the Kowloon Tong Church of the Chinese Christian and Missionary Alliance (KTAC) - the School Sponsoring Body of CAIS - a 18,900 m2 green-field site at Lai Chi Kok for the purposes of constructing new premises for CAIS. The site is approximately ten times as large as the footprint of the current location in Kowloon City.
