Anyone going to the Stafford interview on 6 Nov?

My son will attend the interview at 10:00am.  Anyone else is going?  Does anyone know how will the kids be tested?

Me too, 10am on 6 Nov.  I know you went to SJC last Sat, I was also there but I could not recognize your son.  
danieboy, what will you choose between Stafford & SJC?  BTW, is your son attending N1 now?  My girl will start N1 in KM tomorrow & I really don't know which K1 I should let her go to (or I should just let her stay in KM for K1-K3).
I don;'t have much information about Stafford, how about you?  Do you know if the interview will be held in English?

How can you recognise someone if he keeps running around, hides inside the tunnel and in the playhouse?  I even lost my son for a few times!  I am NOT joking because I was there all by myself.  I was running around with my high heels like a crazy woman.  If you happened to spot a woman with messy hair and washed away makeup, that could be me!

Perhaps it's a bit too early for me to decide between SJC & Stafford.  My impression of SJC is just OK.  I  have a very personal feeling that the teachers are a bit reluctant to communicate with parents.  Whether a school is good or not really depends on your expectation.  As for me, good teacher/parent communication is very important.  Moreover, I am not prepared to let Daniel attend full day school before the age of 5.  Therefore, I don't think I will consider SJC.  

As for Stafford, I don't think I can make any fair comment before going to their interview this weekend.  So far, the staff have been extremely helpful at least over the phone.  I also don't have much information on this kindergarten and how their interview will be conducted.  I think the best way to find out is to ring the school directly.  I will definitely do that within this week.

If between SJC, Stafford and KM, I will choose KM.  Daniel is very happy there and the teachers are more approachable.

I just called Stafford this morning.  They said the interview would be conducted in Cantonese unless prior arrangement has been made.

形式應該同in York差唔多, 主要以遊戲形式問小朋友!
校舍較新, 但比York細!
聽講K1只得一班(半日), 不過唔知今年會唔會開多一班全日!
K2,K3各兩班, 一班半日, 一班全日!

Thx so much for your reply.  (Ha ha You are so funny when you mentioned about SJC interview)I would also want to know more inf about Stafford but there has been not much comment on BK so far.  
Anyway, my daughter starts to join KM today & she only stayed for 1 hr there as for the 1st day.  However, I was puzzled about the no. of kids.  There was about 18 kids in her class today (pm N1)but I used to think that KM is 小班 teaching......to be honest, the teachers there didn't pay much attention on my girl although it is her first day in KM.  I understand that there are other kids whose need the teachers's attention but I would really like to have them to care more on my girl especially on her 1st day.......anyway.....I will see how she is going.
I wish your boy success in the coming interviews.  May be I can see you in Stafford interview this Sat.

Which class is your little one in?  Who is her teacher?  Anyway, I think it would have to take some time before you get to know the school better.  For KM, I think the maximum class size is 20 because there are 2 teachers in every class.  The teacher/child ratio is therefore 1:10.  

Don't be over worried, the teachers also didn't pay special attention to any particular child during Daniel's adaption period because the parents were there.  When your daughter starts to go to school by herself, you would be able to know whether your daughter has the teacher's attention.  I also hope to see you this Saturday.  Your daughter is so cute.  Mine doesn't look like a baby anymore.  He always says he is 大個仔.
