参加了第一轮面试，觉得学校的安排很妥当，感觉不错，我儿子都说老师很友善。只是有一点想学校注意，就是ground level有盖操场的男洗手间卫生情况很不好，地上都是污水。

都有可能。。。但最重要是小朋友能够按着字来读书，不是自己讲关于那本书的内容情节。我儿子说有个小孩就是这样，被校长话他做得不好。

My son also briefly described what the story was about before starting to read several pages.  Based on other parents' comments, this time all kids are asked to "read" several (2-3) pages.  The word "read" - I believe it means reading word by word.

Maybe now the headmistress wants to make sure that all YW boys have a habit of reading and are able to recognize words and pronounce them clearly.

In fact, "reading" without recognizing the words is not real reading.

the core issue is "Listen to instruction" and "do whatever he was told".

My son was asked to summurize a story book and tell Principel what the whole story about..not reading.

Did he say anything to Ms. Lam before starting to read the book?

My son was asked by the Principal to stop just after reading the first two lines of the first page of his English book.  That's it. Strange....
