P.1 knock door result

Did anyone know the P.1 interview result?  How many places will be released for 'knock door' girls?  I learnt that some girls had
entered to MCS in early July 2009, is that true??

I also heard about the same news that a girl who I know was accepted to P1 after interview in early July via "knock door".  But I didn't receive any letter or calls to interview even I have submitted a detailed portfolio after  June 6 central allocation.   Did you attend the interview?

My friend's daughter attended interview and the school told them results will be released after Aug 3 or Aug 31.

How many seats will be released may depend on how many people will give up their seats on Aug 3.  If people don't 交堂費 on Aug 3, they will be considered as giving up their seats.

Thank you for your information.  My girl attended interview in early July with similar information and now waiting for the result.  Very stressed.  
So I probably will know next week.

Besides submission of your daughter's profile, do you know anybody at MCS to help you to get an interview with Mrs Lo? If not, your daughter must be very outstanding to be selected for interview.

I think there is still a hope yet.  Because, when I paid the "Tong Fai" on 3 Aug, I have checked my daughter's class and found the results :

class A & E : 29 students
class B, C, D : 30 students

If suppose to 30 students in each class.  Then there are still 2 seats available.  But 2 seats only, what a small chance.  

Hoping you can get the seat final.  good luck.

曾經有家長一早決定放棄，但仍交堂費，仍出席八月尾的小一家長日。當然學校就要等到九月開學後先知道有人放棄學位啦。所以在家長日那天，老師會向家長說你們囡囡現在的學號只是暫時性，有機會更改的。

但坦白講，餘下的學位真是僧多粥少，各位就「盡人事，聽天命」吧。如果今年未遂心願，明年仍可考插班生，但到時就要有一定實力才可以了。

Hi yeungsln,

You are so lucky and must also be very outstanding to be selected for interview.  To be honest, do I need to know anyone at MCS to help to get a chance for interview?

I have submitted some follow-up letters other than the detailed portfolio sent in Jun.  I know chance is very small (many candidates but only 2 places) and what can I do?   Does anyone get a call for interview recently?

Dear JARJ
The interview was conducted in early July.  I do not have any seat secured yet though there might be a few not 交堂費.  MCS did not call me up.  I have not leant if anyone was sucessful after 3 Aug 09.    Some people said we need to wait until 1 Sept 2009 for those who do not turn up to school=give up the seat.  I think the chance is extremely small now.  I hope they will call eventually.

Don't give up .... you still get chances (you are better than others like me because I didn't have any chance to attend an interview yet).

Anyway, which school did you register right now?  Wish you have a good "backup" other than MCS.
