如題! 煩請幫忙CHOICE 及分析一下!!

If money is not an issue, you should select GH instead.  GH has a higher standard in all subjects.  It also perceived as the third top choice of girl school in Kowloon side after DGJS and Maryknoll Convent School.

The standard is high and should not have problem at all.  It is through-train too.  

If money is a concern then you should consider HFCS.  It is totally free and the standard is below GH but still within Band 1, also it is at Kowloon Tong district and could be allocated to good band 1 secondary if you decided to go for others.

Whatever the new campus and staffing, it is believed that GH is a bit better if school fee is not your consideration.

How about St Mary and Hip Yann, what's level of them, are they below GH?

Well.. St. Mary is a Chinese primary School while GH is English Primary school with GS and Maths in English.  So.. the exposure to English is more.  Though, St. Mary has a year higher english textbook, but others are Chinese more.  It is all depends on you though... Most important thing, FREE and School Fees are the key important.

I perceive St. Mary as good but GH may be slightly stronger in English with more exposure.  

I personally turned down GH for SFA for the following:  I am also choosing SFA over Holy Family (kowloon tong).
1) More expensive but slightly lesser in SFA
2) Quality is not as good as SFA
3) I prefer more english in GS, Maths and leaving Chinese to Mandarin (no cantonese)
4) The language environment is better for practising and maintain (only one mandarin class a week is hard to maintain the Mandarin standard)
5) location is far from my home
6) I still have a younger daughter to follow through.. so.. its an important issue to rethink

Hope all these can help... This is my analysis.. though I need to give-up Holy Family (it is free) but the standard is not as good as SFA.. and my daughter will not have to adjust to Cantonese environment as she never use Cantonese for any of her study subjects.

我想問如果宜家讀GH先, 但 IF 中途因經濟問題要退學, 到時再找(NO SCHOOL FEE) 學校 (SAME BANDING), 會否十分困難?

PLEASE HELP & COMMENT TO ME, THANKS A LOT!

Hi Vclo,

I think shouldn't be a problem at all if you want to switch her out to gov't schools later on.  As the standard is high to maintain her to be the top fews.  Also, don't forget .. if you switch to P2 or P3 later on to a top local school (no school fees).. you would need to take an entrance exam.

I would say same banding schools would happy to take your girl from GH.  I heard that they are many students in GH trying for local schools in P2 exams after one year of training at GH to build a strong background for P2 entrance exam.  This is not an unusual case in GH.

GH are 45 studies for each class, I worry whether they can take care of all.  Do you have any advise for me?  thanks.

Hi twkcck,

I have friend's daughters studying there now.  The school is fine and teachers are very caring.  I would not have to worry for that.  The only thing you may want to consider is that will your daughter behave well at school and listen well during classes.  This is important as they like to take in well behave students so to easy care.  

I think girls are easier than boys to look after and the sisters are very strict.
