if DSS accepted, can try 1st round lucky draw?

i am noted some DSS start enrollment in early summer holiday and most likely confirm the offer before next school term.

if accept the offer of DSS so early, can try the 1st round allocation in sept with result announced in nov of this year?

唔可以, 如果9月前confirm o左 dss就唔駛交form, 如果11月出自行之前confirm就唔會派學位俾你, 有d dss 會同自行同一日出result, 咁你就可以揀dss 或自行o個間.

thanks for sharing....we will have regret if don't even try the 1st round allocation...

If parents don't accept the DSS offer but fail the lucky draw x 2... still have "higher chance" to call back the DSS seats afterwards?

Depends on the individual DSS.
For the popular ones with a long waiting list, they'll rather take someone from the waiting list than to take back someone who has rejected them before.

早幾日至有家長話之前放棄左播道, 搏派位, 點知衰左, 而家要周圍撲學校.............播道話已經收夠人唔接受叩門了
以我所知, 我女間直資學校一樣, 應該唔會留位俾學生"返轉頭"
