The Education Bureau announced the suspension of classes at all primary and kindergartens with effect from 12th June for 14 days. As a consequence, there will be no sports or language classes at any ESF primary school or kindergarten until June 26th. We have a no refund policy, however in light of these unusual circumstances we will issue all participants with a ex gratia credit notice for all missed classes.
All language classes have been cancelled.
Classes are suspended at KGV and South Island School for 14 days from 19th June. There will be no sports classes at either school through to the end of term. Credits will be issued for classes missed as a result of the suspension.
Sports classes will continue to operate at all other secondary school locations, namely Renaissance College, West Island School, Shatin College and the Shatin College Sports complex, but not Discovery College. Should parents not wish their child to attend these classes, we will arrange for a credit to be issued for those classes during the period of suspension.
Language and sport classes are scheduled to run on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th June, except at KGV and South Island School.
Please note that our Summer School Programme will go ahead as planned and we are still accepting enrolments. Should schools be closed during the summer holidays due to H1N1, swine flu, and summer classes are cancelled as a result, credits will be issued for all cancelled classes. |
