大家收到簡介會通知書未呀? 我今日收到啦, 會係6月27號(sat)。我之前打去問過, 到時好似會講埋派邊班等等既資料。

不過我有個朋友報左第二輪, 佢地7月2號先公佈成績, 我又奇怪點解唔等埋佢地入圍既小朋友先黎開簡介會呢?

另外8月最尾個星期六係新生適應日, 好期待呵

Probably there are parents who will give up their upheld seats and won't show up on 27/6.  Then the school may know how many vacancies all together for the 2nd phase applicants.

Based on your information, the briefing date for the new P1 parents for this year is much earlier than that in the past few years (normally in mid-July).

One possible reason/advantage, as pointed out by kaifu, is that the school can know how many applicants being offered in the first phase admission will finally confirm the offers earlier so that the school will know the number of final vacancies they can offer to applicants in the second phase application.

Another possible reason is perhaps due to the current school suspension, the teachers can have more time to do this much earlier than in previous years.

- If it is the same policy as in previous years, you will be given a few days to make up your mind.   
Especially for basic French, the school needs to know the exact number of pupils taking this subject in order to purchase the French books in France and it takes some time for the books to be sent to HK. 


同埋兩者選修既小朋友比例, 係咪日文多d呢? 請指教, thanks!

- I do not know the exact figures.    But it seems that there are a bit more pupils taking basic French.

最後...我地聽仔仔既意願, 同佢選左日文。尋日幫佢FAX左返學校。
另外, 我想問下校車係咪大家都要好早呢? 我地坐巴士只係3個站, 但要7:13上校車。我先生話比佢自己坐, 等工人姐姐帶妹妹返幼稚園。但我覺得太早了....唉...另外課外活動只停四個大站, 真係大開眼界...

The boarding time depends on the routes.
I would say 7:13 a.m. boarding time is not very early, just average.
Those living in the New Territories need to board the school bus much earlier.

Besides convenience, you may consider taking school bus as part of the social life for your child as he can then know more schoolmates of different classes and different grades.

The P1 admission talk originally scheduled on
July 11 has already been cancelled due to H1N1.
You have to wait until September when the school resumes.

You already know a lot more than any other applicants!!  

Remember to send your application online from August 17 onwards.

如果7:13上車, 8:10上課(8:00前回到學校), 咁短既路程, 都要預咁早時間。一係就兜好遠, 一係就好早返學校玩玩玩....玩到心散...
我都有唸比佢坐校車係可以識多D朋友仔...但係真係太早了.... (仲要學野時放學果四個DROP POINT一個都唔近我屋企)

Normally, the school bus will arrive at school around 7:45-7:50 a.m.

Whether the journey is direct or not depends on if your stop belongs to the first few stops or the last few stops of your route.

You have to make the decision for your child that will suit him best.

Our son also pick basic Japanese.  We will definitely let him ride on the school bus as we live too far away.

各位好~我個女今年升小二了~~
新生日係要wear uniform~~同埋最好帶定個袋拿通告~~我上年就俾阿女"咩"個書包番去等佢習慣下~~
