Is 08-09 piano pieces still usable this year?

if use 08-09 syllabus, the scale will use the old one instead of the new one right?, because this year just changed.

You can play the old pieces but play the new scales.

Yes this August- Nov is the LAST session you can use the repertoire.

Scales and Sight reading, you must use the NEW 2009 one....

Old repertoire syllabus (2007-2008) is usable until the end of 2009.  There is an overlap period of 1 year between each repertoire syllabus for ABRSM.  However, this doesn't apply to scales/arpeggios.  Scales and Arpeggios must be played on the most updated version.  See if this helps.
