剛收到女兒 P.3 個英文 result,
好嚇人. 以香港小學生程度 真係幾深下

However, you may say that the syllabus for English is not hard enough here in H.K. (i.e too easy).  That's why our kids' English is still not good after 11 years of studying.

My daughter's score is 22/45. I think it is not good. But the report shows that her score was in the top 15percent of Primary 3 participants in Hong Kong.

我都覺得係 阿女27/45, 竟然己經係全港top 5% 得埋Distinction啦 睇到都唔知開唔開心好

我囡english都考得好差19/45 , 呢D分應該叫做唔及格卦, 我非常 佢竟然係全港top25%, 仲有credit.  救命   

囡囡考埋中數33/40,已經係top6%,distinction.

澳洲的程度普遍是低, 他們在小學階段都不用做工課,每天是回學校玩玩, 完全跟香港不同. 不能比較.

So it is not that worthwhile to take part in the assessment.  
Other parents need to think it twice, even if the enrollment is encouraged by the school.

This result is only comparing the students who joined the test in H.K. (Not even all schools in H.K. joined the test).  So it only reflects the ability of those who joined the test.

this year about 171 schools participate.

以前我的小朋友都有參加咁嘅測驗，好似唔深，可以得高分。

個報告除了分數，也有答案和孩子出錯之處。

睇完 pass paper & result 我都覺得英文吾太深但都吾系淺。是否本地小學英文真系几差D
