兩文三語 (Think (Kln Tong) vs Victoria (HG))

請問有無家長現在讀緊Think (Kln Tong) 的 Play group or Lower Nursery (for 2 yrs old) 知道
1) Think (Kln Tong) 的 兩文三語教得好不好.
2) 多不多外籍同學

我bb現在讀緊Victoria (HG) 的 Play group, 沒有外籍同學. 眼見Interview時的同學也沒有外籍同學, 但有ABC的家長.

Hi,

我個仔而家上緊THINK 既playgroup, 上左一個月, 我覺得幾好呀! 1.5 小時, 首半小時係响playground free play, 之後會入課室, 外籍老師教, 唱遊, 講故事, 做勞作, 茶點等.

我想特別讚下個外籍老師, 佢好有愛心, 好識同小朋友溝通, 我個b番第一堂時, 响playgroud 玩時已經好似好鍾意個miss, 成日跟住佢.  

不過因為上playgroup 全程係用英文, 所以我都唔知中文同普通話得唔得.

至於外籍同學, 一班六人的playgroup 都有一個.

小女在Think KT 唸K2, 學校教學著重聽講，沒有默書(中&英), 所以她聽講都比較好. 但見K3d學生上堂時便要自己用英文寫句子, 用英語present小故事.
除Nusary有本地老師外, k1開始全外籍教師, 中文課老師都係來自北京, 如果你唔計較Think名氣唔及Victoria, 咁Think真係物有值ga. 亦有覺近年來Think KT學生人數不斷增長.
至於學生方面, 本地學生估計佔約80%, 外籍學生中也有日藉韓藉.

想問吓你打算比你女女讀local or international school呢?  其實我好鍾意Think注重語文方面, 但另一方面又擔心到小學時(local school)跟唔上課程

Nice to meet you here too.  I just recognised your boy's photo and name and wonder if this is you.

What do you think about THINK?   Frankly, I like Alisa very much.  And, I sent Elvin to THINK's playgroup as I want him to get used to the environment before he starts N1.  But I am still struggling as Elvin just got another offer.  I want to seek advice to compare the 2 but seems not much discussion about THINK here....

我決定咗比我仔仔讀Think, 雖然佢都有second choices, 但係係迦南, 我唔係好想比佢讀迦南!  Think個playgroup又幾好, 雖然forum comments 不多, 但好多comments都唔差, 巳決定了!!  我仔仔劍鳴on waiting list(pm class), 如果有機會入到都會可能轉吓, 但係waiting list好多人, 輪都唔輪到仔仔啦!!

另外, 我巳問過Think, 讀了n班半年後會幫小朋友做個評估, 如ok的話, 可轉國際班!!

我和hus想囡囡讀international, 佢認為小朋友應該快樂學習. 咁又係, hus可以重注工作不用分心. 但係一定要同囡囡做revision, 不過是要強化囡囡的知識基礎。
另外, 不用擔心bb轉唔到國際班。一開始英語課小朋友是不容以中文必須以英語交談。所以囡囡有時跟我們交談時也會有樣學樣"English please", 証明Think對學生要求。
其實, 最令我欣賞的是, 佢地d老師並不商業化一味說好的一面。 因為, 每次攞performance report, d外籍老師都會指出囡囡的一些性格不完善的地方. 而外籍老師批評比個別本地老師更有point。我應為這樣才能幫小朋友糾正缺點。

f0569媽媽, 很多謝你的info.  其實心裡還有很多問題. 其中, 在我交留位費時, admin 的 staff 同我說, 由lower nursery (for 2 yrs old) 升 upper nursery (for 3 yrs old) 是沒有直升, so I interprete that my son need to be interview again.  因我仔仔現在還不太懂說話, 再interview我真的沒多大的信心.  煩請問你實況是怎樣的? Many Thanks.

Playgroup接受1.5歳以上小朋友, 300一堂, 共8堂, 即$2400.  我哋小朋友都係讀九龍塘Think

I would like to know if there is higher chance in getting a place for N1 in Think KT if I join the 1.5 yr-old play gp?

Is there a long waiting list for the playgp?

My son is joining the TT playground now for fun and socialization.

I am thinking of joining other playgp when he is ~ 1 yr old, which may enhance the chance of getting a place from the respective nursery, e.g. victory playgp ---victory nursery.

Think KT/MOS is also one of choice.

I have read many comments in BK about Think, all are quite good.

I am not sure whether joining Think's playgroup can help as I am now joining Victoria Playgroup.  For your information, for my kid's class, 3 out of 6 has a place in N.  So it may be some priority but principal said it will not.

今天去了 Think KT's briefing session.  很喜歡校長和老師. 感覺很好.
