St. Mary直上中學, 但係maryknoll好似唔係，應該St. Mary好些．

兩間都是很不錯的學校，St. Mary's 可以一條龍上中學部， Maryknoll 的中一收生情況就不太清楚。

Maryknoll 是英文小學，數學常識都是英文教，剛剛睇返朋友比的小一 worksheets，程度也很高，但我印象最深，是以前我的中學校長說過，她很欣賞Maryknoll 校內的閱讀風氣，不論是默讀或朗讀，同學都能從閱讀中自得其樂 (但話時話，佢哋用的 reader 來自英國，不便宜但外表又不太吸引，朋友送我的幾本，阿囡都冇睇過)。

Maryknoll 英文程度高啲, 對學生要求亦高啲, 如果小朋友冇family support 又追唔上,有機會P.2時要被迫轉校....另外聽聞Maryknoll每年都有around九成小學生升上中學...

朋友女兒 (讀Maryknoll) 的課後活動是上補習班，雖然她的成績已不算差.....

另一位讀St. Mary's的，她成績比較好，每日的自修堂會到低年班幫手教同學做功課。

My daughter is studying in P1 at SMCS while my neighbour's daughter is P1 student at Maryknoll.

My comment is as follows:
1. My daughter adjusts well at SMCS.  (She used to study at a kindergarten with less homework assignment).  Out of our expectation, the academic pressure is not much (3-4 assignments each day, always finish within 1-1.5 hours.)

2. only 2 exams at SMCS in P1 school term.  Regular short terms are scheduled but the scores will not count in school report (except dictation and composition).

3. My neighbour has about 3 tests and 3 exams this year.  More homework assignments are found.

The above is my personal observation only.

Agree. My daughter is studying P2 at St. Mary's. She enjoys school life, only 3-4 (or sometimes 2) HW per day. Short tests not count to the grade except dictations (which they will notify a week in advance) and compositions. I like the school, though Chinese is the main teaching medium except for English and Science, my child always have time to read english books which she likes (eg. those fairies series) since the HW pressure is not high.

My daughter is now studying in MCS P.1. So far, she loves going to school and she enjoys a lot in school. There doesn't tend to be any pressure as she accomodates well to the study environment, even though learning Maths in English is new to her.
