學校新學年有機會會轉新校車公司，雖然就算轉新校車公司，都未必會提供沙田區線，但仍然希望你日後會有好消息！

Yes, we should keep in touch.  I remember that there was a topic regarding joint for school bus service.  but I can't find that topic again.

I'm ebbiemami, we live in Ma On Shan and Justindaddy they live in Shatin too. So, we better to ask GT to help us to gether some more students from G2 and G3 in order to form a Shatin 保姆車線.  Pls check PM for my phone no.

我都有看招標文件,1 號車至旺角校舍上車及下車有新都城二期但沒有新都城一期?我明明看見今年有1 號車在一期有站的,我在小一體驗日報了在一期上落的!

This is JustinDaddy, we live in Shatin.  
Did you mean you filled the form and wish to have school bus service for your kid from Shatin?

I had filled the form on 小一體驗日, and expressed we wish to have school bus service to and from MongKok campus.  But I do not see this info reflected on the tender ((附件六) 2009-2010年度校車服務意向調查(旺角志潔校舍擬設校車路線)), what it reflected is no one need school bus service from Shatin.

If it was listed on the tender that there is a need, and the final vendor decided that they can not fulfill that need that will be one thing, but if the tender fail to reflect the need then it will never be even considered, that will be a totally different thing.

I am going to call up GT and understand more.

Will keep you updated.

Yes, I filled in the same and confirmed that I need the school bus service.  I emailed to GT for my case but got no response.  I just resend my email this morning, and asking for the acknowledgement of receipt.  If still no response, I will call then.  And fyi, I have contacted Concord for the service between Shatin & MK.  And I just emailed them my need, as per their request so they can view if they can help.  Once they contact me, I will check further under what situation they are willing to provide service for all of us.  So we can have our own school bus then.  Will keep in touch!

Hi,
I called Mr. Chan (he is in charge of School Bus operation) this morning, and tell him my situation, I'd also bring up that another parent on BK (you) is in the same situation.  
He told me the student geographic distribution GT put on tender appendix 6, is from PTA school-bus team, it could be that they have pass GT incorrect information, he is not sure but will find out and get back to me.
He sounds very helpful, and said you should give him a call to give your kids detail.  You could call him at TKO campus, 25356869, try call 0840 in the morning and leave you number, quite difficult to get hold of him other times.

BTW, I am open if a few of ours can get a bus of our own to solve the problem, as long as the company running the bus is trust-worthing and everything.

Worse case scenario, I will take Justin to school myself.

Get in touch with Mr. Chan today, and he is very helpful and nice.  
And heard that they tender review will be done this week, so hope we can have some good news soon.
And I asked if the school will have some private school bus service information that can provide us so can help those who can't get the school bus service from the school. He said there will be information as per their usual practice.
So, let's cross our fingers and wait for the good news.

Been thinking if i should take him to school myself. Forgot where I read it from, but is really impressed by one of GTparent's sharing about her morning journey to GT with her kid.   
Justin is from Victoria(HMT), teachers there are great, they are opening up his imagination and eyesight.  He now got new things and ideas to share with me everyday.  If later I could take him to GT every morning, I imagine that will be some quality time between the two of us.  But how to get him home will be a big problem.

是啊, 由新界出來的家長都比較辛苦, 小孩也辛苦了.

如果有校車服務給新界地區的家長就令大人小孩都輕鬆多了.

我每天早上都有聽完早會才走, 如果情況許可,可以和孩子一起參加早會是很好的, 可以多了解學校的事, 和孩子也有共同的話題和感受.


優才其中一個令我很admire的地方就是可以家長孩子一起早會, 然後依依的送他們到樓梯口, 看著他們上樓才離開, 很窩心.

I got the follow up email from the School Bus Team the day before.  They said once they decided on the service provider, they will have a questionaire again to confirm the needs.  If not, they will provide info to help us to look for some private service provider.

好似剛換了新的校車公司, 可能好快會有路線, 價錢的detail.
