Use GC Phonics or Your Baby Can Read?

GC Phonics $999 one set. Many VCDs, DVDs and books.

Your Baby Can Read $2080 one set. 5 DVDs, 10 Books, three set of words cards.

Which one is better? Any mother have idea?

性質唔同, 無得比較, GC Phonics 主要係比小朋友學英文拼音, 而Your Baby Can Read就係比小朋友學英文生字

你小朋友幾大 ?  我就係囝囝1歲前比佢睇Your Baby Can Read, 1歲多d就加埋GC Phonics, Your Baby Can Read佢好鍾意睇, 而家2歲幾, 間唔中都仲有攞出黎睇, 不過GC Phonics 佢就麻麻, 我而家都係播CD比佢當Background Music聽

係呀, 2 個都唔同性質。

其實2樣都要學, 因為小朋友唔可以只學拼音單字, 不學句子, 如果唔係就唔能夠對話。

也不能只學生字句子, 不學拼音, 如果唔係就串字好辛苦, 所以英國,美國人都會學phonics。

Thanks for your opinion.

My baby is eight months old.  I am looking for some learning materials for him to learn English.  The Disney one is very expensive.  I also try my friend's 'Your baby can read' to let him watch and he shows interest.

Dear moms, any more ideas, please?

Disney 真係好貴, 我都無買, 因我是full-time mom有時間自己教, 而且我覺得留埋d錢同佢返多d playgroup 好過, 有interaction會好d

另外, 我覺得"Baby BumbleBee"的VCD都不錯, 我問朋友借左幾隻"action words"的VCD係睇晒 Your Baby Can Read d DVD後比囝囝睇 , 佢都幾鍾意, 不過Baby BumbleBee就唔似Your Baby Can Read咁讀完個生字再用英文describe吓個畫面, 只係讀個生字2次咁啦

Anyway, 我同其他BK媽咪一樣唔讚成比bb睇咁多TV, 最多一日30-45mins

除左VCD/DVD外, 你可以考慮買d CD同書比bb聽同睇, BK有好多媽咪推薦"機靈狗", 唔錯嫁, "ABC級" 我囝囝都睇左30幾本書啦
