I think attending interview class MAY help. At least, the content of the class provides you guildlines on how to coach the child for the interview.
If you let the child to attend the class, but no follow up at home, it won't help.
Most school won't accept copy cat answer from interview class, but if the class teaches the child the manner, story telling techniques, how to answer question in complete senstence. What's wrong with it?
During the briefing section at DBSPD last year, Terrance Cheung said lot of applicaints tell stroy of "守株待兔" in the same way as this is from the syllabus of one of the most popular interview class. If the child tells this story at the interview, he could be almost be sure had attended interview class. However, if you understand the techniques used for story telling, and teach the child to use it tell different stories, he can make a good story easily and more confidently.
To those whose child did not attend the interview class, you did a great job, but it does not mean the class is useless.
Last, the class works for one child, but not for all. It depends also on your child, but at least it worked well with my kids. |
