you may try the DSS secondary schools but most of them have connected DSS or private primary schools !

So not easy to enter !

我估你是說直資中學吧！
傳統名校轉直資的好大競爭，新直資學校其實又好新，談不上什麼校風好不好，你只可憑其辦學團體猜測。
明年升中一的話，不如試下沙田培僑，新校，校風無何奉告，但設備不錯。

沙田培僑雖然係新校，但係唔似係[有教無類]，學校簡介會又咁多人捧場，相信都唔易入。

你可以考慮下匯基書院(東九龍), 小班制30-32人, 學校得2年歷史, 是直資英中.

其實如果你有時間, 可以於早上到校門看看同學, 唔多唔少都會看到d校風.

妳的囡囡讀培正嗎？
培小有多少%可直升培中？
其餘大多數會派去邊？
如果成績真是不好，為何不要求留班一年，打好基礎再上路？
如果勉強搵一所校風純樸“直資”中學，讀不上也不是辦法！
況且沒有保險可買，不能一個人“幫”兩個位；直資收了妳囡囡就要簽名落實，不會有中央派位給妳囡囡！如果等到中央派位後再決定~~再回頭也不會要你！
還有漫漫長路，為何不加強小朋友之學習興趣與能力？

I read a few message from you and understand your situation.  If I were you, I will try my best to find 直資 or 私立 to her.  Once accepted, I will give up gov't place, I don't want to rely on lucky draw.  Is it 培小 not a gov't school? So, you have paid for over 5 years already.  In Kwun Tong, you can try 福建中學, someone told me it is OK, but I do not have any info besides it's web-site info.

I'm also P6 parent, hope all we good luck.

A lot of friends recommend this secondary school.  One of them said 校風ok because she lives opposit there and she also planned if her son (now P5) cannot get a band 1 ticket, she may try this school.  Another friend told me a lot of 新移民, all of them study hard, so the acadamic result still OK.  You can see their web-site or walk around the school.

如果選私立，為什麼不選直資呢?私立學費要家長全數負擔，直資有一半是政府資助，成效一樣，但的我們比小很多...

Kwung Tong 何不考慮tko, 好多直資, 真道及優才 可能教學理念更合你孩子, 還有tko香島, 羅氏基金, 匯知 ...
