我知基督堂幼稚園是收四歲小朋友的,但我想知幾時派申請表及面試內容,還有想問吓有無讀緊此校學生的媽咪上來傾吓

基督堂幼稚園面試會否需要家長陪同,及面試內容,是否用英文interview.會唔會問家長問題,如果問又會問啲乜嘢呢,

As far as I'm concerned the interview is conducted in English.  Only the child will be interviewed, no clue about the content.

My child is studying in CCKG.
The Interview was carried out by the Principal.
She is svery nice and she talked to me after interviewing my child.

Could you please share the content of the interview?  What are the questions and what kind of candidates they like?  Is it hard to enroll?  Do they like younger children?

May I ask how did the Principal interview with your kid/you?
Also, someone said they accept the child depends on the parent's background.  Is that true?

Dear Huitung and Alan,

The Principal (Mrs. Fielding) just asked general questions to my kid.
I think she like responsive kids.  
eg. she asked my child if she get any little sister or brother.  My kid answered yes.  
She then went on asking how old is her little sister.
My kid answered 'zero' year old.
That prompted her to ask me when she saw me waiting outside (not interviewed me).   
I think this answer get her a place in CCKG.
I believe the background of the parents have a bearing on whether they accept your kid or not.

May I ask, was your kid baptised the year she interviewed with CCKG? I think CCKG prefer kids who are at least with the same religion. Do you think so as I myself don't have any religion background.

I went to submit the application form today and the queue was quite long which is out of my expectionally...

Thanks for your information.  Can you also sharing the below:

1) If CCKG standard is high?  Are there a lot of homework?
2) When your kids shift from the K1 kinder to CCKG, if she/he can accustom to new school easily?
3) If you or your husband was a old boy of those famous primary school?

聽講CCKG有一半女生升上DGJS K1。 請問有無人知是否大部份升到上DGJS 或DBS既小朋友既媽咪或爸爸是DGS 既 old girl, 或是 DBS 既 old boy?
我覺得CCKG 專揀同 DGS 或 DBS 有關系既小朋友收。

My kid is not baptised.  She got no religion when applying for a place in CCKG.

School standard is high.  Not too much homework, but all teaching in school is by English.

My kid got no problem in adapting to the new school.

Thanks for sharing.  May I ask if you are living in Net41?  I'm still a bit puzzled about the chance in getting the school if the child does not have the said criteria.

This year almost 1000 kid fighting for less than 100 seats....chance really low. But good schools are like this, right?
