You can imagine.  In my days, everything is in Eng except Chinese.  Now, their adv over other schools is that they use P2 Eng books for P1, P3 books for P2, etc.  Besides, they have a Sci subject in Eng.  But their Eng standard has dropped quite a bit.  My daughter who is in P2 always said that Eng is so easy.  Up till now, they have only teach two chapters in the English book. Well, but I think this is the trend in HK.  If you want a school of very high English standard, choose DGJS or international school.

But, in my days (1973), not only Chinese is teaching in Chinese, there are lots more subjects in Chinese.  I remember 健康教育, 社會 & 聖經...etc are taught in Chinese.   Sure, intergal sicence and Maths are taught in English; and their English standard is higher than other local schools.  Since, when I can't get a seat in F.1, in my new secondary school, the English reader book is only those same level when I was in P.5.

Are you lots more older than me?

Yes, I am older than you but not very much!!
I remember definifely that 聖經 in English (R.K.)  I forgot the other two already.  Let me check my school report this weekend and come back to you.

中文科是用廣東話教.  But they also have Putonghua lessons once a week.

i have called the school for some information last year.  the staff asked me if my daughter knows chinese as the teaching media for P.1-P.3 is in cantonese.  i am thinking they may be teaching in english from P.4-P.6 to prepare the girls for secondary.  however, i am not so sure.  you can call the school to check.

seems that we're all old girls --- similar age group as well. I rememebered there was one more subject taught in English -: EPA

I also remembered that for the 6 classes in the secondary, F1A,B,C were mostly filled up with girls from Holy Angels, and F.1D,E,F were for St. Marians from P6.   Do you still remember Sr. Teresa Chun -- the headmistress of the Primary section during our times and Sr. Ida -- the principal of the secondary...

I am a naughty St. Marian.  As a result, throw to Holy Family in the secondary school.

Of course I remember Sr. Teresa Chun.

Now that my elder daughter is in P2. I hope that won't happen again!

I am not lucky, I am out from St. Mary in secondary.

I remember Sr. Chun but not much idea of Sr Ida.  I enjoyed the days going to the 魔鬼樹 in secondary section; skipping into secondary section's classroom area and enjoying the slide, which was actually the stone handrail at the long stairway in the secondary section (finally, my panty was torn ) .....
