ESF vs Non-ESF

My son is studying at one non-ESF international kinder.  I heard some parents plan to take their children to ESF primary school.  

My question is what is the major reasons for such change?  Is the curriculum taken from ESF is the same as what we are taught in the past, and would we satisfy that?

Just depend on what you mean by "Is the curriculum taken from ESF is the same as what we are taught in the past"

ESF is following the UK curriculum. However, the method is teaching is not like local school....example learning from experientments, questioning.   What do you mean by "same as we are taught in the past", does it mean you have your high school in ESF system or local school system?

On the other hand, I suppose some parents prefer ESF since they are international school curriculum + methodology, but seems external exam results are very good (of course depend what is the expectation /comparison)
