Congratultions. Maryknoll is also a dream school for my daughter.

How many points does your daughter get? 20 or 25?  As I know lots of girls failed though they have 20 points.  And, did you apply any other private or DSS schools for your daughter in case she failed in the 1st round?

Hi, CKwok & WaiMa,

I have 20 marks.  That's why I said that I struggled so much between St. Rose & Maryknoll.  I know that if I apply St. Rose, the seat will be quite secured and for Maryknoll, I will need to join the lucky draw even in the first round.  I estimated the chance is 50/50.  

I did not apply any other school because I want to wait until I know the result on 11/15.  I think I will go to Our Lady's if I failed in Maryknoll and I don't want my girl to attend any interview which seems too much preparation and pressure to the parents & kids.

So... I think that I am very lucky to get the seat in 1st round.  I don't think much about the result in the last 2 months.  Just keep telling myself to take it easy.  I am only excited when I saw the school in this Monday afternoon, thinking what if I failed!?  The moment I knew that my girl gets the seat, I am really very, very happy and want to let the whole world share this with me.  So, I make a lot of calls during that day.

I would like to know how many K.3 kids have successfully promoted to P.1 in the first round as they will be my daughter's classmates next year.

Congratulate that you get a seat in St. Rose.  Is your daughter from St. Rose K3?  If yes, why don't you ask her if she knows any of girls in the list?

My girls can identify 22 names from the list.  Since she does not know all the girls in K3, the numbers could be more than this.
