st paul convent ( private ) does not accept outside application for P1 .

they only accept their own kindergarten students !

If you really want to get a seat from St Paul Convent, you better send them letter right now and keep on sending, it still have chance ga, I guess.

SPC Primary Section: 198人

SPK + SPN: 240人

扣除男生及放棄直升人數，應該勉強夠位收晒Kinder學生，而且大部份kinder學生都會選擇直升，因為以私校來說，SPC的學費真是很合理@月$2240．

據我所聞今年仍有外校生成功入到SPC，但不知她是否有人事關係．

現時SPK已通知晒而家讀緊K.3既小朋友是否被小學收取，而學校係容許學生參加自行分配學位及中央派位的。每年都有學生派到其他名校如Marymount、St. Stephan's Girls等，而放棄St. Paul's Convent既學位的。所以佢地亦會收外來的小一生，不過真係好難的，因位好少。

thank you ah, I do not have much mood to write now lah, few years ago i wrote to them before and the reaction was not so good, I even went there before (knocked knocked door) and the maid who was sweeping floor did not let me go in, jus seemed like ppl said kick me out by the mop, just kidding... maybe i do not have the fate with this school.

of course, no connection, no hope.  
I know a mother, her son is studying in SPK, her little daughter can't get in SPK ( but her daughter is really talent, talkative, when she enrol to K1, the performance of interview was good, but still couldn't got a seat ) she beg the sister of principle for admission for years, until now, her daughter already in K3 at other kinder, still begging. Really pity!!!

A I mention before when I young my family know the sister But it is very hard to enter St Paul's Convert (causeway bay) even you know them or rich but depends which level you are. Even long long time we send present to them they accept only depends which level you are. Actually I like Happy Valley St Paul's better.

係呀, 我都好同意naughtyboy既講法, 我都係鐘意St. Paul Catholic (happy valley) than Convent (causeway bay).     
原因係早1年, 我姪女佢想插班入Convent & Catholic, 一直都有寫信,有一日, 我阿嫂就打去Convent問有冇得插班, 插幾多年級之類........., 點知個書記話有, 仲叫佢指明一日到學校填資料, 而預早一日阿嫂更打電話confirm,  阿嫂仲專登向公司請假去間學校, 點知去到間學校居然話冇咁既事, 當時阿嫂講埋邊個書記講 & 當場仲認得出個位書記把聲, 但位書記死口唔認, 而校長當時還幫著位書記, 阿嫂覺得呢間學校處事不妥(雖然佢成績唔錯), 連道歉一聲亦沒有;  事隔半年, Convent校長叫佢來考插班, 當時Catholic都有叫佢考插班, 結果, 2間學校都收了, 但經我們商量後, 覺得Catholic既修女& 老師 & 書記都係比較有禮. 最後揀了Catholic讀, 所以揀一間學校, 未必係諗佢地既成績, 還要考慮其他.

Do you mean keep sending them letter ONLY in express your wish to let child studying there??  Or need to enclose the child's profile every time when sending a letter??

I have a neighbour whose daughter is studying there at P2...her comments are quite positive....   

Could any moms who knows / heard about this school give more comments on it please.

聞說有姊姊或哥哥在讀未必一定收，因為不想成為世襲．但我仍見到不少成功例子，所以不知上述傳聞是否屬實．

其實每間學校都有優缺點，有好與壞（其實都很主觀看法）的校長，老師，校工，學生，不能以偏概全．甲之熊掌可能是乙之砒霜，最重要是選間適合自己（父母的支持是小朋友成功的重要因素）及小朋友個性，資質的學校．
