想請教如果K2先讀ESF Kindergarten，咁apply ESF primary 機會係唔係較低呢？

It is not easy even to get in ESF K2, as there are only 3 ESF kindergartens (will be 4 in Sept) in HK, and the waiting list is also very long.

But for your case if you jump in K2 better call ESF and ask!

我阿女２年前讀ＥＳＦ青衣幼稚園，曾收過一份通告，內容大約是遲過一月入讀的學生，將不會有面試的機會．所以還是打去學校問問比較好．

ESF WKS is new kinder, so not sure if it will have teething issue. But I think also it depends on what kind of teaching style and school you are looking for. If you like IS, then ESF kinder is definitely one of the best choices in town, and you get higher priority for interview in ESF Primary School later on.

Hi Popolung,

Thanks for your information. Currently, my daugther is studying in Think International.  We are looking for the future primary school now.  Some people said ESF is good but some says no.  So, it is a little difficult to making the choice.

1. I think ESF WKS will not be so bad, and honestly speaking as if the teachers are doing their job, which is quite simple in Kinder, should be OK. And then RC & ESF Shatin College (under ESF umberlla) are all good school.

2. in ESF it give you a better chance to have interview in ESF Primary School (who I am worrying about), but in Think you won't have such priority. And Think only have until Primary School now. You have to worry again when he / she get into secondary school. For ESF once you are in Primiary School then they will be automatically allocate to Secondary School.

3. Of course if you are not targeting ESF Primary School then it is not an issue. Still ESF Kinder is classified as famous kinder since it only have 4 in HK by now, and ESF is a big group you can choose other school when you move around your house in HK.

Requirement for parents are quite different. For lazy parent like me I will like her to grow up happily in ESF, as if I can afford. Then that may be more simple. Don't rely only on the school to teach our kid. We have responsibilites too.

It's quite helpful to us. We are still worrying about the primary and secondary school.  Yes, we heard about the students in ESF to be very happy and enjoyable.   In fact, as the parents we want to give the kids to live happyily and fun.   Also worry about their future.  

We don't want the kids to be too hard (if they study hard, it means the parents too).  Too many pressure and bring them studying with boring.  Just face to the different test and exams.

Today we will have the introduction with ESF and next week to seeing the Tsing Yi ESF.   If everything is good, we may consider to have our kid to attending to.

Welcome. My daughter loves to go to ESF Kinder everyday. It is indeed a punishment if we told her that she can't go to ESF kinder in the morning when she is naughty......
