我個仔從08年９月返到而家,Easter後上stepping stone,我個人非常鍾意呢間學校,之前有返過其他playgroup,但我覺得純粹"hea"太浪費時間,我唔係要求要學D乜嘢,舉例:在woodland老師在開始circle time時會有首歌大家介紹自己叫乜名,之後行出去老師度攞起貼有自己相片的"啤啤熊"放入一個類似郵箱的Box度,再同老師握手和說"Good morning Ms. XX",我覺得可以令小朋友知道介紹自己和認識其他同學,同老師握手和問好,可學識表達友善和禮貌,重有snack time時要自己去攞table mat,水杯和碟,當老師問你要唔要呢樣食物時,要就要點頭答"yes,pls",唔要就搖頭答"no,thank you",食緊野時要自己坐好和不可周圍走,食完後要自己收拾好杯碟先可以去玩,我唔係要佢學D學術上或者一D好艱深嘅野,我想佢學一D基本嘢,即係學一D修養,禮貌,簡單的自理能力,和其他小朋友怎樣和諧相處和溝通,之前返過嗰度無教到呢D嘢,只係得"Hea"同玩,當然都有一般playgroup有嘅活動,好似circle time,snack time,story time咁,不過個"餡"就完全無得比囉,我諗真係一分錢一分貨啦,雖然woodland係貴D,不過我覺得真係值得的,重有,到現在為止,巳經有2次outing,不過唔好彩2次我個仔都病咗and我返嗰間是Mid-Levels

Sometimes I'm pretty confused, those things sound like my kindergarten teachings... but that's what most playgroup centres in HK

My son has attended woodland Montessori in Caine Road for a few months, I like it.  

Although what they are teaching sound similar as in most of the playgroups but I think the difference is the class teacher is carrying out the rules strictly, she will make sure you sit properly in circle time, if the kid dont follow after several "warnings", teacher will put him/her into "thinking chair" outside the classroom.  Or the kid has to say "yes pls" when teacher asking him/her during snack time otherwise no snack etc.  

In other words, the class teacher will try hard to make sure her students to complete their "missions", wont let go easily.

I always wanted my boy to go to Woodland .... hope they will open a campus in kln soon .....
